During a visit to the area, I had dinner here twice. First night shrimp scampi and second lasagna. A chilled sauce blanc from NZ and a salad completed the meal. Folks friendly, responsive and helpful. Selection of appetizers, entrees, cocktails etc excellent. Service - spot on. Seating in and out with tall boys and a small bar inside. Guys you don’t need to look at the menu. Trust me on this one. You’ll feel like Nonna made dinner tonight!
Me and my boyfriend sat at the bar and we were served by Lauren; service was PHENOMENAL- went for happy hour, got two drinks and she requested a new tequila which my boyfriend loved (LALO) and recommended a cocktail for me (pear cosmo) , would definitely recommend to come around when she’s working to make sure you get the full savona’s experience! I also recommend kingston location as i am a regular there, but i am blown away with the service i received here at poughkipsie…...
I was very impressed with the atmosphere here. The servers were very attentive, never let us go without water or want for anything. They were on top of every detail. I really enjoyed having lunch there.
