Such a beautiful place with great food and an amazing atmosphere. Most of what we tried was delicious, although the ribs didn’t taste as fresh as expected (the glaze was still good). The salad was fresh, and the risotto was so tasty with plenty of shrimp, scallops, and calamari. My boyfriend’s favorite was the special, the French duck casserole with sausage, so flavorful. We also loved the Barn Sunday, a mix of vanilla ice cream, yogurt whipped cream, almonds, crispy filo, and blueberry glaze. And last but not least, they made me a white sangria that was top notch. Between the beautiful presentation and great service, this place is amazing.

We had a problem with the (2) scallop dinners foul tasting. The floor manager apologized and immediately made an offer for 2 new meals which were excellent. Desert was offered on the house. Will return.

Over priced and overdressed salad, the protein add on price is ridiculous.
The server was lovely as was the restaurant ambiance. We were a bit disappointed in the food. The octopus was hard and the scallops were very salty. Everything we presented beautifully. We will try again as Molyvos is one of our favorite restaurants.

Moderne Barn is always a good place to grab a dinner with friends. It has a casual slightly upscale ambiance. The restaurant is well lit but can get quite loud. The menu has a wide array of choices including vegetarian and gluten free options and the food is consistently good. Two of us were there for a business dinner and we were given a large booth which was great. We also lingered for quite a while and it wasn't an issue. We ordered an assortment of appetizers along with two salads. Our waitress was attentive and brought out our food quickly. We ordered the mushroom arancini special, mushroom dumplings special, pretzel bites, Caesar salad and mesclun greens salad. The mushroom arancini was amazing and had a very tasty sauce with it. The pretzel bites were also wonderful. Very soft on the inside. The mushroom dumplings were a bit odd because we were expecting something similar to the pork dumpling appetizer on the regular menu but they were more like wontons and came in a soup bowl with broth and tofu. We felt that could have been explained better on the menu as we wouldn't have ordered a soup to share though the dumplings themselves weren't bad. Overall it was a very nice, relaxed dinner and we got our work done.
