I absolutely adore this place, from the concept to the entire ambiance, everything feels so authentic and full of character. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell the owner puts their heart into that place. It’s one of those rare spots that feels welcoming and just like home. A true gem in Astoria!
This place is unique and wonderful. There's no menu, just fresh fish and seafood cooked to order. The star of my meal curiously enough was the eggplant in garlic and vinegar--really superb! The lobster and scallops were on point, while the jumbo shrimp was a bit overcooked, unfortunately. Perfection doesn't exist, but this place easily transports you to an Egyptian port food stall and that's a pretty awesome culinary journey, if you ask me.
