The food was okay, although I had appetizers only. The alcohol was watered down. Caipirinha tasted like more sour than anything. "Prohibido" was a odd mix of alcohol but again was not it. The restaurant is decent and service was great and the ambiance was chill. It's got a bar but next time I'll just grab a beer.

Food now the food is no like was last year now is small and price is high and the and the owner is so nasty. He would never say hello to his customers. I've been going there for eight years. He would never not even say hello to me so now after eight years I'm not going there anymore she is so mean. and he's going to lose his business. The business is empty. No one is there today, Sunday and I pass by and nobody he do mean I'm sorry for because he doesn't have personality I wish him luck!!!

Every day I order delivery and the truth is that the salty one is not good at all. Today I asked the guy who answered me on the phone to change the salad for whatever it was, even if it was a Maduro, and he was very kind and told me that he was going to ask.I heard the entire conversation where someone told him no, he repeated it again so please be a mature man and the answer was no.It seems terrible to me that a restaurant would answer no! Instead of giving their customers options. As a tip, if you can't change the salad for something else, then you should improve it because it's very bad, it's not just throwing away tomato, cucumber and acidic onion.I will never recommend this place again.

Came here with my family. everything was going so well, good service, good drinks but be sure not to make a error ordering food because they wont be able to accommodate you in a professional manner. The manger RICARDO asked to speak to me in a very aggressive & unprofessional manner. He started telling me that they had to waste food because of me and all these things you arent suppose to tell your guest what you're sacrificing to satisfy them. your just supposed to take the loss and act accordingly. Ricardo asked to have a conversation with me but when i tried speaking he continued to yell over me in the most rude disrespectful way and began to berate me. i know it isnt a michelin star restaurant but customer service and professionalism should always be the priority. safe to say i will never be coming here again. As u can see he replied to me in his unprofessionalism. To his knowledge of entitlement he doesn't know or realize there's people with disabilities such as aphasia.

Ahhhh this place is sooo good!!!! Today must’ve been my 6-7th time being here. We live in LI now but still come back, and today it was in route back from the poconos heading to our home. We were craving a good Spanish meal; Acento is Colombian. It’s mine and my partner’s favorite Latin place in Astoria, and being Latin ourselves and considering there’s not many places in Astoria area that are of our cuisine (he’s Ecuadorian and I’m PR), this speaks volumes! Haha. I tried to remind myself to capture photos, but we were so hungry and eager to eat, that I ended up taking photos midway through eating! lol.Our favorite treat is the Arepa Cachapa, which is sort of like a sweet corn patty with cheese inside, omg amazing! We had it as our appetizer.Their white rice is so perfect - it’s grainy while still being soft and fluffy, just like I like it.The red beans one of the best fusion of flavors I’ve had and let me tell you that we have rice and beans about 2-3 times per week (like I said we’re Latin and it’s a staple in our household and culture overall).I had the Entraña steak today with yuca fries - steak was so juicy like I like it and yuca fries were perfectly crispy. The chimichurri sauce that comes with it, yummm!Partner had the traditional Bandeja Paisa, which he tends to get at every Colombian spot we go to and he enjoyed every part of the meal (it’s a combo meal, a must try). We all tried each other’s food. My kids shared with us and they even loved it (that says a lot for 4-yr olds who can sometimes can be picky with food! lol), and we also had food left over to bring back home.Great portion sizes, very generous.Atmosphere is so chill, lovely with a mix of different music playing in the background. My kids and I were all grooving to the music haha.We didn’t order any drinks today, but from what we remember, they’re also good and tasty!A must visit if you’re in the area and looking for a guaranteed delicious meal, no underwhelm, and want a bite of our cultural foods that always hit the tummy right!Kid-friendliness: Welcoming to kids. I’ve eaten there several times with them

First time in this place, the food was delicious, a wide variety of selections, they have the most requested Latin dishes. This place is definitely going to become my favorite restaurant because there I can please my entire family's tastes.Parking: Since it is located in a commercial area, it is a little difficult to find parking, but it is worth taking the time to look for it.

Came here with my husband last weekend and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the guacamole as an appetizer and each had a main dish. The waiters were also very attentive and friendly. Will come back soon
