By far the best Greek restaurant ever in NYC. The food was amazing and the service OMG! ....excellent. The music or DJ was spectacular, it opens your senses to the food. It was a little bit to loud, but at the end it didn't matter too much as everything was “Perfect”.

risotto was runny. Bao buns was good. Had the seated by the walkway and was getting bumped by waiters and my hat hit the mash. They should rid of that seat or keep for 1 person only. Cucumber cocktail was tasty. Don't know if I'll be back.

I took my parents here for Mother's Day. It was our first time. Our server was great and very attentive. The food was delicious we got scallops and halibut. And for appetizer we got the grilled calamari. The drinks and dessert were also great! We will definitely be back

Friendly staff. Food was very good. We had the sea bass for entree with some sides. Grilled octopus and calamari appetizer. All prepared perfectly. Just the right amount of noise but could still hear our tables conversation. Will be back.

Last night, we decided to do something different and head to Astoria for dinner. We're so glad we did. The food was delicious and the atmosphere at Amylos was so upbeat and festive. Everyone at the restaurant was having a great time. Panos, our wader was so inviting. His food and drink recommendations were spot on. We are already planning our next trip.

Panos was our excellent server! He kindly helped me when I asked how to pronounce their longest word on their menu. The “Astakomakaronada” (lobster pasta). Phenomenal! One of the best lobster pastas we've had! We also got the crab cake and it's so tasty the value is honestly underestimated. And also got the Stifado (short ribs) beautifully tender and savoury. The ambience is so nice we sat exactly where we wanted the seats along the edge of being outdoors but still indoors. Panos even gave us a lovely aperitif to compliment our meal since we didn't have room for dessert! Love their playlist it's always so vibey! It's our favourite neighbour night out spot!

Classic greek salad was very fresh and generous with its feta portion.

The place was beautiful and we loved Mediterranean food. The ambiance was amazing, perfect for a date night. We ordered the halloumi cheese and that was amazing, 10/10. Would definitely order it again. Then we ordered the dark ale lamb shank and the meat was tender but the flavor was awful. I am not picky but I thought it wasn’t edible. I was expecting sweet but it was waaay too sweet. The eggplant on the side was cold and bitter. I wish I had ordered something else. The pita that came on the side was a little burnt and dry and could use more flavor too.
