The atmosphere is quite pleasant. The Haitian bartender was exceptionally friendly, though I regret to say I can’t recall his name. I’ve visited this establishment numerous times, and I must say that the food’s affordability doesn’t necessarily imply low quality. It gets the job done. Additionally, Stephanie is a great bartender too.

From the minute we came in Aliya came in clutch with amazing customer service. Seating us right away, providing us with our drinks and food in a timely manner. Everything came out hot and fast. Ty for a great time.

Come to apple bees for the apps and booze!!! Christian our server was great. Not every Applebees is amazing but this one is!!!!! Become a BEESHEAD today!!! Astoria is the place to do it.

We had a really disappointing experience here. When we arrived around 9:50pm on a Thursday. The hostess at the door was friendly and seated us right away, giving us menus. But our actual waiter never greeted us or checked in. He didn’t come by until about 10:30pm
Meanwhile, the busser brought plates and napkins, but we were still just waiting for our server. When the waiter finally showed up, he didn’t say hello or anything he just said “ready to order.” I told him we wanted to start with drinks and asked for the happy hour drink listed for $6, which the menu outside clearly said was available until closing for dine-in.
He told me we’d have to go to the bar to get the happy hour price, which makes no sense because at other Applebee’s locations we’ve always been able to order happy hour drinks from the table. He said it would be $2 more if he brought it to us and even asked if we wanted to move to the bar instead.
At that point we were already fed up with the service, so my husband and I just decided to leave. Honestly, it was the worst service we’ve had at an Applebee’s, and we won’t be recommending this location.
The server Zina is incredible. The atmosphere is great and I appreciate how friendly and efficient staff are

Came here for a kids bday dinner. This is where he wanted to come. The waiter was really nice and attentive. We ordered a whole lot of food. The thing about Applebees is that it does taste delicious at the time but everyone's stomach hurt after all with the same symptoms. Wings were my absolute favorite. I devoured them with no remorse. We got free soda refills as they promised. I really love me some wings man.

Service needs improvement, a lot of improvement. As with any business It starts from the top. This review is no different than what the other reviewers have said in other reviews. I am not sure who rated this place as 4 or 5 starts. I think the 4 and 5 stars they receive are bots.
These are the areas of service I noticed needed improvement.
I had to ask for napkins. Had to get the ketchup myself. Isn’t it common place for a server to ask if you want ketchup or any other condiments when you order fries. Additionally he never asked to refill my soda. Free refills are supposed to be included. (Same as other reviews, they don’t care) Never asked us how our meal was going or if we needed anything. Overall he wasn’t very pleasant just going through the motions. Just being honest. Burger was good. Not excellent or great. Just good. Cutlery came in its own paper packaging. I guess that means it was clean. Suspicious considering the quality of the service, I question the cleanliness of the cutlery.
At least the the TVs had entertaining videos. Distractions.
Don’t get me wrong. I tipped the guy anyway because I am a nice guy and worked in the restaurant industry. We went with the 2 for 25 meal special. With sodas and tip came out to 40 something.
UPDATE later tonight. 1 hr later. Food gave me a stomach ache. Not eating here again.

Was going out with coworkers, but had bad experience here bad customer service, adrian never asked if we needed anything else napkins , asked for check and he threw on the table my receipt and container to pack food, not very helpful bad experience, he seemed miserable.
