This review is specifically for their fried chicken wings which are damn tasty. Ngl some stuff on the menu is mid, but the fried chicken wings + rice + the triple green jade is on my regular dinner rotation. The pepper steak is also solid. Simple seasoning but real tender. Sweet and sour chicken is hit or miss, but hits often enough that I'll probably gamble & order it again at some point when I'm craving it. My girlfriend didn't like the bone-in pork ribs....
When I say sauce on the side, I get sauce on the side! Its always a good thing when you order takeout & you get exactly what you asked for!!! Astoria NO.1 has good customer service & good veggie dumplings too!!
Can’t expect much from these types of shops for food normally. But this place has good quality chicken and the rice is always divine. Feels homemade and fresh every time! Don’t feel like crap after either! Very tasty. I go at least once a week
