Bel Aire Diner! 17 years since my last visit. The Diner is the same as it was.
Very good location at the 21st street in Long Island City.
A big parking lot is shared with a super market, a post office and many facilities. So somewhat crowded.
Coffee and bbq combo for 2 costs me $40 something. The staff is kind and the customers look gentle.
Cheese fries somehow tripled in price overnight, 2 days go paid $6.75 went in yesterday and they told me 1 order of cheese fries and a can of pepsi was somehow $19. I just don’t get how you can justify tripling the price literally overnight and even charge $19 for frozen fries with melted cheese on top. Great restaurant and they will continue to have my business but that’s just totally unacceptable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bel Aire Diner, and it was a top-tier experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional, with our server, Martin, providing attentive and friendly service that truly enhanced the evening. He was quick, knowledgeable, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
The real star of the show, however, was the steak and eggs. The steak was incredibly flavorful and cooked to absolute perfection—tender and juicy with every bite. As for the eggs, I ordered them over medium, and they were hands down the most perfectly cooked over medium eggs I’ve ever had. My compliments to the cook for nailing that texture—it’s not easy to get it right, but they certainly did here.
I can’t recommend the Bel Aire Diner enough, especially if you’re in the mood for a delicious and satisfying meal with excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I've been going to Bel Aire Diner since I was a young girl. I use to order lunch or dinner for my papou and he always enjoyed the food! As a busy family we couldn't cook him homemade meals often so it was such a wonderful thing that we could buy him delicious food that tastes homemade. This morning I went to Bel Aire for breakfast with my family and not much has changed since I've moved. The food is still great! They have made some upgrades to the space which were lovely. But the best part is they still have the same staff for the last 20 years; dedicated and hardworking employees like Martin who care for all of their guests! my whole family enjoyed it.

The diner is really cool and the food is absolutely delicious, I had one of the best milk shakes of my life there. But the best part is the service, specifically Martin who is so attentive and nice, I hope I can come back soon.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight with my family. We had such a wonderful waiter named Adrian who made the experience perfect. He was so attentive, spoke to us about his family to connect with us, and had a beautiful demeanor. The food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the Italiano sandwich and the cheese cake) 5 stars !!
