I ate there once while living in the area and the first time was horrible I had a cheeseburger with onions lettuce and tomatoes and everything was spoiled to the meat itself being raw ! . I'll never go back

We really were extremely excited to try this diner. But sadly, the amount of food and price was not we were expecting. The pastries were the ones we tried first but I feel like it is still the best part of this diner.Parking: Easy to find parking spaceKid-friendliness: They do have kid menus

Ordered from late night menu. Food was not good. I only recommend eating the cheesecakes if you come here. Everything else is really a kitchen nightmare!

Bel Aire Diner is a staple of Astoria. I've been to Bel Aire Diner many time & they have usually been good. However, I think that they fell off in my opinion. Just b/c this is an Astoria Staple doesn't mean that we have to rate it one of the best, It's not, especially since appearing Kitchen Nightmares. I went there last night with my daughter, we order salmon & skirt take. The salmon was so dry & had no flavor, the mash potatoes also had no taste & the gravy looked as if it were sitting there forever. The steak was not flavorful, actually it was too salty & lets not even start on the Mac & Cheese. First of all, this is not the Cheesecake Factory that needs to have a menu covering every ethnic food category, the menu doesn't have to be 20 pgs, stick to basic diner food & don't try to act like you have quality chefs to prepare &/or cook the variety of food you offer on your menu. Kitchen Nightmare didn't make the quality of food better @ Bel Aire Diner, it just put them socially on the map, but the food sucked & it wasn't even late, it was during dinner when food should be fresher.

We were not greeted with a warm welcome, they gave me old rotisserie chicken that smelled even with bbq sauce on it. We ordered cake battered shakes but they were just vanilla shakes with sprinkles. I will never go

I've only been here once. I will go back and try again another day I'm sure. My first impression is that it's okay. Good food, good staff but nothing to be impressed with.

Do not torture lobsters for money. What is the crime of those animals? You are keeping them in a small place with their hands tied. What you are doing is not humane at

They keep the poor lobsters with their hands tied in a tiny aquarium for who knows how long, cruel people, what is the fault of those animals, you have no conscience, there is no being as bad as humans in the world, no, will your shop go bankrupt if you don't sell lobsters? Why do you torture
