I recently had the pleasure of dining at Blend Astoria, a fantastic Latin fusion restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm decor set the perfect tone for a delightful experience.
The menu is a beautiful blend of traditional Latin flavors with innovative twists. I started with the empanadas, which were perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor. For my main course, I opted for the cilantro-lime grilled chicken, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and wonderfully seasoned. Each bite transported me to the tropic.
But what made the evening truly special was our server, Lorena, From the start, She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. She offered great recommendations and shared stories about the dishes, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. It was clear that she was passionate about providing excellent service and ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.

Came here for my birthday and it wasn't all that, soda had no gas, empanadas were cold the table was small barely anything fit.

We went there for the dinner. The food and environment were really good. We have enjoyed it but from the service points it was not that standard. Server was not paying good attention to us. However, besides the service points it was good we enjoyed it.

I’ll start with the pros before the cons.. The food was definitely worth the 1 hour and 10 minute wait, big portion and great drinks! Beautiful presentation. However! I did not enjoy waiting over an hour for my appetizers. It was fairly busy for a Saturday early brunch however no excuse really, you should be prepared for a rush. They did please us with allowing us to order a dinner item during brunch, that was super nice. We were a walk in which was a bonus to be seated so quickly. But I didn’t appreciate our server dodging us as time progressed of us waiting, a simple “I’m sorry your food is taking longer than expected” would’ve sufficed for our frustration. We did get a round on the house to make up for it but I think our appetizer should’ve been comped as well but I’ll say I appreciated that too. I’m just disappointed in the wait time and lack of service. I’ll gladly apply here if you need the help..

Went here for the first time today for brunch. Food was good but the service was not good. Sat at the bar for 20 mins before I was asked what I wanted. Decided to sit at a table for Food. Had to flag down the bus boy to ask the setver to come over. I don't get how the customer has to ask for the server. I've been to many restaurants where they come check and make sure everything is OK. That did not happen here.I probably won't go back. If i have to keep asking for the server then its not for me.

Food was great. Was seated right away. Waitress was extremely slow and never checked on us. We had to keep asking staff to find her. Otherwise food was good. Drinks was good. Parking a little difficult. Prices somewhat reasonable.

First time here and I left very pleased. The drinks was awesome. The fried rice was tasty and nice portion and it was full of seafood. The salmon was tasty as well as the calamari. The service was A+. Will definitely visit again!!
The bartender Juanita was the best , will definitely be coming back here just for her! The vibes , music and customer service was 10/10.

From the moment we were seated, her warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional evening. As a restaurant consultant, I have a keen eye for good customer service and quality food, and Loraina exemplified both. Her suggestions were spot on, from the drinks to the dinner. Each dish she recommended was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I highly recommend visiting. Get the salmon!

As a first time customer at Blend Astoria, and being a person who has high standards, this particular restaurant pleasantly surprised me. Leidy, our professional waitress, greeted us with a smile, eye contact and the utmost respect. She is a consummate professional and checked in on us often. The food was remarkable- the lomo saltado taquitos are a huge must have. They were done just right!!! The steak sandwich and Cuban sandwich were a notch better than amazing!!! Dimitri, the manager beyond hospitable and accommodating. Overall, the establishment is one which is clean, great ambiance, great vibes, great music. Will be returning soon and recommending to everyone.
