Super cute compact spot. Originally had planned to go to the big Cafe next door, but this was intimate and got a table outside immediately and all the pastries were delicious. Had a Chai latte that was so warm and perfect.

The most delicious Borax pastries I've ever eaten, all fresh and delicious, really giving you the feeling of Greece

The best Greek loukamades in the world. I've tried many, many Greek cafés and restaurants and these have to be the tastiest. Perfect texture, great flavour, and all reasonable value and cost. The service and café itself is superb as well. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit this shop more often.

This very authentic Greek cafe is fantastic. You can tell from the Greek crowd hanging in front of it at the beginning that this will be good. Pastries are incredibly fresh and flavorful. Recommend the Greek bagel, spanakopita, and bougatsa. I will be back!

Friendly staff with a nice selection of fresh & delicious pastry and coffee. They have quite a few tables outside were you can sit and enjoy your coffee n pastry. As you walk in you can smell all of the delicious pastry and coffee. Suggest anyone stop by for some loukamades & a frappe.

Cafe Boulis is an Astoria institution and has some of the most reliably tasty greek pastries and I order frequently now that they’re on the delivery platforms like seamless. However with this said I’m not sure if it’s just because of the delivery or somethings going on but the spanakopita (spinach pie) has been miserable lately. Just a tough pastry with damp spinach and trace amounts of feta if any which could be overlooked if it was seasoned and cooked better. It wasn’t always like this but the last three times I went the spinach pie was just so bad and they sent a wrong item a few times with delivery. However it’s still a great place for coffee and the namesake loukoumades. I will be going elsewhere for savory things however.

I liked the girl in the cafe was welcoming with a smile, as I enter with my grand daughter glad I finally came to try the Greek doughnuts, that I've been wanting to try , but couldn't due to being busy .. I will be coming back soon with friends and family members . Love the doughnuts so tasty , but need to try more of their other goodies they have. Highly recommend this cute cafe. They have nice sitting outside.

Amazing offerings. Everything is great here. And we actually pretty much had everything here. Found this place by accident and we’ve been regulars ever since. The hosts are also great people. Very friendly and real.

Great little cafe to get some average-priced greek goodies and coffee. I personally ordered spanakopita and a smaller greek coffee and it tasted like home. Everything felt very fresh and the service was great, so I definitely recommend it.

Boulis cafe is one of those gems which never disappoints. The servive is always impeccable, the baklava: divine, and sitting outside with an espresso in the sun, is worth half a dozen meditation sessions. The biscuits and actually everything about this place feels like home, and I'm not even Greek o.o

Incredibly good Greek pastries! Light, flaky, warm, cheesy - best in Astoria and a great small neighborhood spot! Staff is very friendly as well - can't recommended enough!
