As someone who grew up right by Roosevelt Ave and could get 3 tacos for less than $9 , this place felt extremely disrespectful. The fish taco had no flavor (not even salt), while the carnitas and al pastor were edible, but definitely not worth $5. Due to the 4.7, I'm willing to say it was an off day but for close to $20 for 3 bland tacos- I'm never coming back.

Date night at Chela & Garnacha! Ordered the chicken burrito and the gf got the mole enchiladas and it was delicious! Margaritas were good! Staff was friendly and attentive ensuring we had our drinks replenished and was clearing out our table with the finished dishes. The restaurant was cozy with dim lights and felt intimate. Definitely a first date spot and will come back for sure! Highly recommend it! Will try the quesadillas next!

My partner has been coming here for atleast a decade and it remains his favorite taco spot. He brought me here and I am equally in love! The service is top tier and the chef is always up for a challenge! I have had multiple experiences with ordering something off the menu and the chef has always come through with something delicious! Highly recommend this spot and the shrimp tacos are the best I have ever had.
