The food tasted really good! The rasta pasta was a little spicy, but delicious. The chicken and waffles looked pale, but actually tasted great and well seasoned. My friend did not like the steak dish.

Wanted to try their empanadas or frittata but they were out of both. They also advertised a rooftop on IG. Upon arrival the waitstaff said it was closed and said its not really a rooftop, its a balcony.

DJ was fire though and the bottomless did its thing!

Amazing the atmosphere & vibe is amazing but service for food slow could be better but definitely coming back to have brunch and give them a second try with it. The music was bumpin & a whole vibe in one. The drinks are amazing.

The Atmosphere was beautiful, the music were a vibe. But it sad to say that me and my party waited over an hour just to get our order taken. We did bottle service and they kept saying the liquor on the premium section was an up-charge when we were getting two premium bottle package ! We were sat at 6:30 and didn’t receive our food or bottles until 8:40 and when I told the manger my concerns he told us he will give us complimentary shots in which he didn’t give us! 2/5 I would recommend going to another brunch spot with more accommodating servers/mangers !!

The DJ was the only good thing. There are so many unnecessary charges in every corner. If you don’t check your coat, it’s $10 for every person who keeps their coat and it’s freezing when you first walk in. One of my nieces was dressed casually but had sneakers because she is a tomboy and they charged her $40 for wearing sneakers as a woman and it was before midnight. I feel so bad for the younger crowd who aren’t aware and don’t realize they can request itemized receipts. Two Jack and cokes cost $47. The birthday package prices for bottles disappear at a certain time and if you purchase a least expensive package, you have to move a different area from whatever is left for the “cheap people.” Meanwhile the packages are expensive and they bring you the hookah that’s included half an hour before they close, oh and don julio reposado isn’t included in the package prices, it’s an additional 50-100 fee. Absolutely absurd.

Terrible Experience. Not Worth the Money.

My friends and I spent over $1,500 for a section at Coco La Reve, only to be hit with ridiculous additional charges at every turn. On top of our section price, each person was charged an extra $40 just for entry which makes no sense when we were already spending over $130 per person. That entry fee should be waived or at least reduced for people booking sections.

Then, they had the audacity to charge $20 for coat check, or if you wanted to keep your coat, they charged $10 just to bring it inside. This is NYC where it’s cold most of the year, and people rely on public transportation or rides hares. Charging people just to wear their own coat inside is nothing but a money grab.

The vibe? Dead. Probably because no one wants to come here when they nickel and dime guests for everything. We refused to order food or extra drinks outside of what came with our section because we weren’t about to give them another dollar after the excessive fees. The whole place gives broke and desperate.

On top of that, the service was awful. Staff had no sense of hospitality, and the whole experience felt like a scam. If you’re looking for a good time, go somewhere else. Coco La Reve is not worth it.

I had brunch here with my friends, the waitress was sweet and beautiful but she took long to give us our glasses. The food was good. There is good music, however have you ever encountered one of those djs that are smug because they know they’re a good dj? He’s like that, he should really work on that. It’s not that serious bro, you’re a dj, simmer down. Other than that, it was a decent place. I don’t know if I’ll return.

I had a work holiday party here and this venue was nothing short of amazing. The communication and service was top tier. They included me in every step and when I arrived everything was exactly how I wanted it. Everyone raved about the food and how amazing the venue was. If you are looking to have a work function or personal function/party here do not hesitate! Thank you to Shelby and Tiffany!
