Have not been at this location for over 15 years. Decided to go to dinner tonight with my husband and I was amazed with the change of management. Albert manager is very attractive. Our server Bryan was AMAZING first the inviting smile than the politeness, respect, and knowledge of the dishes was spectacular. The waiters Israel and Francisco were very attentive and wonderful. W were so happy with the ambience, food, service, music and Love. Thank you for making this night a great one!
One of my favorite spots. It's a shame they closed it.
Is a very nice place, food and service is good.
We came here for a company dinner a few weeks back. Let me start off by saying that the owners and staff are absolutely great. The service is excellent, which made for a great overall experience. This is a great estsblishment and should absolutely be on your list of places to try.
Love this place. The FOOD IS AMAZING. I've brought a chef here and they were impressed. The service is on the slow side but the atmospehere more than makes up for it. I've seen a wedding proposal, took my mom for her birthday, and just keep coming back. I love it here. Oh there's a 4% surcharge for using cards, the sign is there when you walk in. Cash is ideal.
El Boqueron is a wonderful little jewel of a restaurant serving authentic Spanish food and beverages. We like their paella best of all. Full of meat and seafood, the flavors are a symphony of Spanish delights. Begin with a few tapas and a nice big pitcher of sangria and you’ll have a dinner to remember. Don’t forget the flan for desert and you’ll leave speaking Spanish...or thinking you can! Que Viva El Boqueron!!!
Not Spanish cuisine from Spain. Food tasted more like a take out from a regular Spanish mom n pop place. Not much in flavor. Paella was dull. The tapas selection was small. Drinks were ok. Service friendly but slow. I expected more. Sorry.
Gambas al ajillo are great
Great place for tapas. Very nice staff. Portion sizes of the tapas could be slightly larger (hence the 4 and not 5 stars) but they were very tasty!
The food is amazingly delicious. We ordered 4 tapas and the Valencia and the vegetarian paella. Everything was fresh tasting and well presented.

Very good. A great family Spanish restaurant with excellent up to par food. Very good service, and very cozy. Definitely look at this restaurant
I was totally surprised by the preparations and level of service. Our server was highly informed. Truly one of the best dining experiences I've had in NYC in a while. I judged the book by the cover and was WAY wrong. A new neighborhood favorite within walking distance of my apt.
Order Tapas and their passion fruit sangria you wouldn't be disappointed! Just don't order their paella cause the seafood were all over cooked!
This was one of my worst restaurant experiences. The food was actually barely mediocre to bad. The manager was pushy to make us leave. Only the wait staff seemed to be nice. Don't go here. At all.
