Ordered relatively late night takeout (9pm) and it was really good and really cheap. We got the pastrami and chicken cutlet with brown gravy sandwiches. Together it all cost less than twenty dollars. The cutlet was fantastic; the pastrami was not up to same caliber as Katz’s, Sarge’s, David’s, Pastrami Queen, etc. but was totally fine—and it only cost like 8 dollars (not to mention that we live a block from this place). Will definitely eat again

Why is there always eggshell in my BEC? I always try to eat carefully because I know there will always be a shell in my order. It is so frustrating and a waste of money. Please be cautious when prepping

Super unassuming spot that would be easy to walk by. But once you're in, you're transported to a whole different environment filled with music and decorations.
The tacos themselves were fine-nothing terribly special. They aren't shy about how much filling they put, which is a plus. But the flavoring was overall fine.
The real winner of the meal, though, is the birria torta. The meat was so delicious and overall was just a lovely meal.
Tons of juice bar options and soda options, which was an interesting addition. When we went there was maybe one other table there, but I can imagine if it were to get crowded seating would be quite limited. The front desk cashier was super friendly.
