Hero is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the fantastic cocktails and incredible food. The prices are unbelievably reasonable, making it a steal for the quality you get. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. The servers are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight for me was the charming fish aquarium, adding a unique touch to the ambiance. And let's talk about the music - it's the best playlist ever, setting the perfect mood for a great time. Every dish is a work of art, with presentations that are not only specific but also tailored to perfection. I stumbled upon this place spontaneously, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. I can't wait to return for more memorable experiences. Hero has definitely won me over!

Amazing Japanese and Thai fusion cuisine. Everything is always very fresh and delicious all the staff is very courteous and the atmosphere is just amazing. I have gone there over a handful of times and I cannot say that my expectations haven't been met or surpassed each time I have enjoyed eating at this establishment. There are so many options it's very hard to state which is my favorite as a recommendation, but I'm sure the staff would be able to give you a helping hand like they did to me!

A must have local spot here in Astoria. The staff always make you feel welcome, the service is fast, and the food is always good, not to mention their prices are fair especially in this economy. My personal favorites are the Massaman Curry, coconut rice, and curry puffs. Their appetizers are always delicious.I would claim that this is the best Thai food spot in Astoria. Enjoy!

Ventured out here as they were listed for Queens restaurant month. The menu has some interesting things beyond standard Thai. The Tom yum seafood hotpot came out first. Flavor was good, good amount of seafood. Overall worth the try. Then came pad kee maow with duck. This was very average. The duck was a bit dry and not super flavorful- would recommend a different protein. At this point we reminded our waitress we had ordered the chicken curry puff, which was forgotten. This was actually quite good (I'm not sure what to do with the sauce, don't need it) but would have been much preferred at the beginning of the meal. The vibe of the place is a bit divey. Overall, will probably stick to other Thai places next time as this didn't add much to our repertoire.

A lovely Thai, Japanese eatery on the beaten path that is never too loud or crowded. The food and service are top tier and their variety of options are astounding. Would recommend any of the wok noodles, ramens and soups in particular! Also really enjoyed their curry options which are so comforting and savory! Highly recommend for lunch and dinner.Vegetarian options: Lots of customizable veg options! Especially for noodle and stir fry. Get the noodles with mock duck.

I love this place for affordable quick delicious Thai food. A lot of the food is surprisingly good and you can't go wrong. The sauce level is spicy. We got the papaya salad medium and I was hurting and I love spicy. I highly recommend any noodle dish here. The lunch special portion is smaller so we got it to try more dishes. The krapow gai sub and fried egg was phenomenal. I didn't think it be so outstanding but it was. The pasta dishes here are shockingly amazing too. The service is good and the food is served pretty fast. The cocktails are super good too. We have been coming here more often than we want to.

Zero stars. My NYC friends - DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT VIA GRUBHUB. I ordered food via the app, waited an hour, then received a message stating the food was delivered. I went outside my apt then my building but found no one. After 30 minutes of waiting, I sit here hungry and frustrated. I reached out to the restaurant and THEY ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME. I wasn't rude, mean, or even insulting. I simply asked for them to check where my food is. The gentleman I spoke with said it's not his problem and click. My mouth dropped. GrubHub customer service eventually refunded my card which is fine and the right thing to do. I'll just go grab a sandwich at the bodega. Not a problem. My beef is with the restaurant taking zero responsibility for this event and treating my business as if I'm a nuisance. I'm just a working guy that ordered some food after a long day. Nothing epic. I expect more as should you :/
