Small location, food tasted fresh and the sauce wasn't too overbearing. I would recommend Chicken Shawarma on a pita. Also very nice service.

Excellent swarma and falafel as the pita was warm and soft, sauce, greens, were all abundant. Hidden gem in Astoria.

We wandered here for a snack before going to the Noguchi Museum and instantly wished we were hungrier. The gyro-falafel combination sandwich was out of this world. I will have to come back to try more things - everything looked amazing!

Beautiful Quran tiliwat in the background! Owner gave me a free pita bc I wanted to try hummus the right way. Great atmosphere!!!! Best halal place!

Amazing falafel sandwich, generous staff/portions…not often in the area but highly recommended. Will add to delivery rotation.

I recently visited Pita Hot and had the best shawarma sandwich I've ever had. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the sandwich was stuffed to the brim. The staff was also very friendly and gave me a free falafel while I waited. I will definitely be back again soon!

I really wanna like this place but they messed up my takeout order (asked for a little bit of everything but only got a tiny amount of hummus,) didn’t include pita, and the salad tastes old. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but if you’re gonna order here, don’t do takeout - you have to basically watch them as they prepare it. I reached out to them asking for a refund, due to the incorrect order, but they said they couldn’t help me. I’m leaving this review to give the owner a chance to make it right. I’ll go to king of falafel until then

I personally did not find the falafel tasty at all. The tahini was lacking and chicken Shwarma had no flavor either. I really wanted to like this place. I will say the portions are a nice size for the price and the guys behind the counter are nice. But for me personally I've had better tasting food.

Unbelievably tasty falafel. The Jerusalem falafel sandwich is my go to - it’s packed with SO many fresh ingredients and somehow gets more delicious with every bite. A must visit establishment for vegans/vegetarians as options are delicious, nutritious and clearly labeled on the menu.
