Love this place. I do miss the salad bar but they still make a great steak for a very good price.

I didn't plan on eating here, but the smell of cooking meat drew me inside. I didn't regret that decision. Kilo is an appropriate name, because you get a considerable amount of food for what you pay. Now, mind you, this isn't the type of place that serves Waygu, but the steak is excellent. This is where I go to scratch my beef itch now.

Took the family for a night out in Astoria and was in the mood for Brazilian food. Found this nice restaurant on Yelp and decided to take a chance. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and proceeded to order some food. My Picanha was served on a cast-iron skillet and it was outstanding (would definitely order again)! Everyone else ordered something different and enjoyed their food. The overall consensus was the black beans were a little salty but everything was great, including the atmosphere and the waiter.Note that although the kids entrees are a little pricy compared to chain restaurants, the portions delivered would satisfy most adults! This restaurant comes highly recommended!

This place is incredible. Fernando is an awesome host. I brought my friend and his wife and mother in law who are from Brazil and they had nothing but positive things to say about the food.

Our go-to Brazilian spot in the Ditmars Blvd area. (There are brazilian spots on the different avenues throughout Astoria)Came here several times with different friends and family and sometimes we order to go for family parties or to take home.Had the Coxinhas de frango, mandioca frita (fried yuca) frango passarinho (fried chicken), Pastel de carne o quiejo (identical to empanadas). For the meals:Chicken Marsala and on different occasions a few friends had the grilled steak and loved it. On another occasion had the Baked seasoned fish.Caipirinhas are delicious Maracuja (passion fruit) or Pineapple or regular caipirinha.Staff is polite, friendly and amicable.

Sirloin steak was grilled to perfection, and very flavorful. Side dishes also excellent. Chocolate flan to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant. I'd go back for sure!

I had been craving Brazilian steak and looking at reviews of this place I was pretty excited. The lunch buffet seemed like a good deal and people seemed to rave about the quality of the food. Sadly my visit here did not live up to those expectations. The buffet was no longer running due to covid I guess. I had hoped for the type of meat that they shave off skewers but all they seemed to have was regular steaks. I asked for my steak medium but it was definitely more well done than that and was extremely tough to bite through or even cut with my knife. My friend got the chicken parmesan and said it tasted alright but the meat was pretty dry. For the price we paid it definitely wasn't worth it.

I am a huge coxinha (a very tradicional snack in Brazil, a cooked dough filled with chicken, of course, deep fried) enthusiast, and I risk to say that here by far is the best one I have tried in NYC. So my stars are for the coxinha. Haven’t tried other things. Maybe in another visit. Today just coxinhas and beer. Cheers.

I was really looking forward to a nice lunch after reading positive reviews but it was honestly a big letdown. My medium rare steak was incredible tough and a little overcooked and really did not taste that great. Ambiance was just.... weird. The music being blasted made me feel like I was at a club in Ibiza! For what we got, it felt overpriced. I would not recommend. Also, just to note - their buffet has been suspended.
