This place was on my list of places I had to visit in NY, and it was well-worth it. Good location, GREAT food, and I really respect the owner and workers. They deserve all the praise.

A justifiably well-regarded local spot with spectacularly crunchy, oblong falafel and an immaculate vibe. Both the staff and the portions are unfailingly generous. Gorge yourself on Levant-quality halal at street cart prices.

Truly the best falafel — I’ve been supporting this spot since I was a child and they were a cart in front of the C-Town on Broadway (RIP). Since their spot opened, I regularly pickup or dine in with loved ones. The hot sauce is deliciously spicy, the chicken is always grilled to perfection, the rice pudding is a perfect end to the meal, and the salad+hummus combo is my absolute favorite. Also, as someone with Celiac Disease, it’s been great to have this reliably gluten free delight in my neighborhood. It’s such a wonderful place and I’m so grateful they exist, what a journey it’s been over the years! I also genuinely love the political decor in the restaurant, free Falastin forever and always 🫶🏽🙌🏽

Fresh and well seasoned food. Awesome pita and pickled things, low quality veggies in the salads, nicely seasoned average meats. Average quality service (efficient and unfriendly). Poor decor. Would return in a pinch, but probably for take out.

Sticky tables sloppy menu no prices posted. In spite of that delicious food and great service
An absolute community staple, and the best falafel you will ever have. Huge portions. Affordable. Excellent ambience. A reliable and steadfast establishment, and a respite for many a weary comrade. I'm so grateful to King of Falafel, and it will always be #1 in NY 🩷

This place is a 10/10. The food , is incredible. One of the best chicken shawarma platters of my life with yellow rice and a salad. Everything was fresh and juicy. The meat was tender and flavorful.
The best part, though, was when I thought that the meal could not be topped, I began eating the included falafel. Mind blowing and truly the best falafel that I’ve had. Shout out to my friend who got an extra order of falafel.

I’ve been here at least a dozen times this year, you can’t go wrong with any of the shawarma platters for taste and price.
