Solid steamer table joint combined with grocery. People are very nice. Prices are super reasonable! Tamales come with sauce. We got chicken, and a platter of rice, beans, and Pernil. Will be back to try the pollo guisado and other tamales soon.
As a Mexican who just moved to the neighborhood and was genuinely looking forward to having an authentic spot nearby, this is just not it. I ordered a burrito that somehow made Taco Bell look authentic today…it was a deconstructed version with random vegetables as toppings served on the side and sour cream randomly doused on top. What truly made this a sad attempt at Mexican was the white rice inside of the burrito itself..why and how. A truly disappointing meal overall. Onto the next I guess.

Incredible food. My Peruvian boyfriend is hooked. We tried the chicharrón en salsa verde. As authentic as it gets and fair prices.

Love this spot. The hot, fried chips are perfection. Best source for avocados in Astoria. Great selection of Mexican products.

Is the second time I come and is closed. In hours that supposed to be open. It took me 45 min to get there bc it said it was open. I really needed some things for a post - op. They don’t take this seriously! No note. No nothing!

The food is good and the cook is very friendly, those who serve in the caua have no manners to serve. They sell reluctantly. And they say it is open 7 days and today, Wednesday, December 13, I called and it is closed. They should update their schedules.

I like the chorizo tacos, they are delicious. I have been going to eat there for more than 10 years and I love the tacos.

My coworkers and me always have trying food to different places around the area, struggling to find a nice place to order oftener. This was the first time that we order here and it was a very good choice. A good meal with a nice taste for a reasonable price. It includes beans, rice and hot tortillas for the same amount. Definitely we’ll keep ordering here!
Not recommendable !!!I ordered a stewed chickenAnd it came to me like a soup ?
Looking for a place that has authentic Mexican food. Well look no further. Closest thing to getting a home cooked meal at a reasonable price.
