Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. Service was prompt and I felt at ease. My waitress is bilingual in Spanish and English (so am I), so I was able to communicate with her with ease in both languages. I ordered the bandeja paisa and it was fantastic. Reasonably priced at $25. Will be back the next time I’m in NYC.
Food was a solid 8/10. The shrimp was seasoned very well and steak was fine. First round of drinks (first pic) were really good but i did not like the second one (last mamacita) but im also not a mezcal girlie so i can see how other people can enjoy it. The restaurant was empty and our waitress didn’t really pay us mind after we got the food so keep that in mind.

Cute contemporary restaurant/bar with great service, playing Latin pop beats.

The food is a bit overpriced, comes in small portions, and tastes fine. We liked the virgin drinks and chicharrón appetizer. The ropa vieja was good, nothing special. The churrasco steak was disappointing for the $45 charge. It was very small, about half the size of a regular steak. It tasted fine as medium rare, nothing special; even if the churrasco had been average-sized it wouldn't...
