After a fund day at new indoor game shop in Astoria, we stumbled upon this small Thai restaurant as we were searching for a place to have lunch. The inside is very cozy and has a nice fun vibe. There were a few small tables for two and one long communal table with benches. There was no public bathroom that I could see. And the entrance has steps but also a ramp for wheelchairs and strollers. We ordered:
Seasoned Fries ($6.95): we mainly got this for my little niece who loves French Fries. I think these were frozen crinkle cut fries, but she didn’t complain and ate the whole thing.
Crab Rangoon ($9.95): this was perfectly fried and came with homemade sweet and sour sauce. Perfect little appetizer.
Chicken Pad Thai Lunch ($13.95): a well balance dish with crunchy peanuts, fresh bean spouts and sweet/savory noodles. I would have liked more char flavor to come through from the chicken and it could have used a bit more heat but was nonetheless a good tasting dish.
Thai Fried Rice Lunch ($13.95): the fried rice had onions, scallions, tomatoes and egg. A bit bland for my tastes but my niece liked it.
Crispy Shrimp Lunch ($14.95): this had 3 pieces of shrimp tempura, scrambled eggs on a bed of white rice and topped with sweet soy sauce. It was a nice homey and filling dish.
All of the lunch specials came with a veggie roll, soup, and salad. This was a pretty good bargain for lunch in my opinion and would come again, if in the neighborhood.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a small ramp in front of door

Food was ok. The Thai Tea was the star of the show. Would not recommend just because there are much better options in the neighborhood.

Taste was good but portion is way too small for the price and the area. I had green curry, drunken noodles, and pad Thai. Not enough protein as well.

The person at the front desk is a racist - not listening to our order while we asked friendly. When we asked about the order payment, rolled his eyes and said ‘do u not understand me’. Very rude

The food and drinks were so good, my favorite was the drunken noodles with chicken, I asked for them to make it with less spice and it was made so perfectly.
