It was my first time, and I loved the atmosphere and the presentation of the food. Everything looked very clean, and the chocolate flavor transported me to Dubai. However, I recommend being more careful because the day I was there was a fly, which wasn't pleasant. But everything else was great.

I go into the restaurant ordering a crepe and it was already $18 for a crepe which is absolutely insane. I ordered anyways and I see this one dude sitting next to me who hasn’t received his order yet. 20 minutes later, he still hasn’t received his order and I found out there’s only one person working there and she’s taking orders but not making them. There’s 8 people in queue and I’m like surely this place can’t be 4.9 stars so I filter reviews by newest and after reading R. Hemingway’s review of the health violations of the restaurant, how it’s supposedly closed (grade pending as of now), I immediately leave and end up disputing my transaction with the bank. Stay away at all costs

This place was delicious! It had so much variety, it was hard to even choose! Their fresh juices are delicious, and we couldn’t resist trying their dipped cheesecakes. Highly recommend if you have a sweet tooth!

Store's been open two months, has already racked up 118* food safety violations and was shut down by the health department on 8/7. Not sure how their doors are open on 8/8 but they are telling customers they were never shut down. Health department website currently says otherwise.
edit: the health department site has updated with results of the 8/7 inspection and shut down - i have updated the number of violations from 79 to the updated total of 118.

Melt N Dip is one of the premier spots for authentic and unique desserts in NYC. Their Lotus and Pistachio Kunafa is worth it even at a higher price as the portion size is adequate for more than 1 person. Definitely a place to come back to whenever your in the Ditmars-Astoria area.
We were visiting from Dallas and tried this shop. Our expectations were exceeded with the quality of desserts and service both. It is a must try if u r visiting NY.
