New York City Bagel & Coffee House

The avocado toast here is absolutely legendary. It’s a Greek-inspired take with plenty of olive oil, feta, and black olives, plus both mashed and sliced avocado — always super fresh and consistently delicious. Easily one of my favorite versions anywhere.

The bagels are just fine, nothing special, but perfectly serviceable. The coffee, on the other hand, isn’t for me; it always tastes a bit burnt.

What really makes this place shine, though, is the atmosphere. There’s lots of seating, warm wood accents, and a fun yet laid-back vibe that makes it feel like a true neighborhood spot. Even with a couple of misses, it’s the kind of café I’m really glad to have around. Service is also very fast.

Went in today for bacon egg and cheese bagels. The cashier wasn't very friendly and very uninterested in good customer service. We ordered three very easy orders. When our order finally came out they only had cheese and bacon served cold (the cheese wasn't even melted.) We went back up and were told we needed to tell them we want egg on an egg sandwich so remember everyone make sure to tell them you want EGGS on your bacon EGG and cheese.
The gentleman did remake them but tried to make us the customers feel it was our fault for not asking for eggs. I doubt we will be back.

I ordered a toasted everything bagel with olive cream cheese. What I got was an untoasted everything bagel with cannoli cream cheese. You would think common sense would have made the worker double check that order since it’s an unusual combination but I guess not. I’m glad there’s a better bagel place across the street.

The vibes are great, but the bagels are terrible. I so badly wanted to like this place but my bagel tasted sour and chewy and didn't toast properly. The cream cheese also tasted off. I won't be back.

I was ordering breakfast this morning and wanted a waffle with bacon on the side but could not find a place on the delivery app to request the bacon. So, I called the restaurant and spoke to Christina who was very nice and helpful. She advised me how to request that side when I placed my order. I did so and sure enough it was delivered!

I appreciate a restaurant that has someone helpful answer the phone. Thank you!

Had to try an authentic New York Bagel. We had a toasted mini everything bagel with plain cream cheese as well as a toasted mini everything bagel with bacon, egg and avocado as well as a coffee and cappuccino. Mini’s are pretty big so be aware if you order the full size bagel! Both bagels were fresh and classically NY chewy. A bit pricy ($25 for the order) but you have to try it t least once.
