New here. i have found the fish is sometimes very fresh but also had fish that seems soaked in Clorox, no flavor, mushy texture and fishy smell. Will give another try and hope it was just a few off days. Will update.

Eating fish in NY is a bit difficult, because the ocean is not the Mediterranean; even more complicated is buying it to prepare it at home; fishmongers or fish houses are somewhat disappointing. Ocean Fish Market is a real exception. A considerable variety is always present, both thorn fish and molluscs and crustaceans.
