Walked in without a reservation for early dinner, which I appreciated that they accommodated us. However, the server was not friendly and got me disappointed. She never said thank you even once and just took order, put plates with no words on our table, and place the bill, took our credit card, she did these all almost without saying anything. I even felt she was hostile to us and don't know why. A very beautiful woman. I will never go back again.

STEER clear unless you can sit in your chair and basically whisper to your company and definitely run if you have children! It is such a shame what I am about to write because I honestly wanted to like the place. The inside is okay, nothing special but still pleasant. The food is also good, nothing mind blowing but enough to say that you had a good meal. The staff on the other hand is HORRENDOUS with a capital H! They are rude and uninviting and not pleasant! They also add fees to the bill and gratuity without telling you.The first time I went there it was for my grandmothers birthday. We were a rather large party. We had 3 kids with us, I could sense the staff was giving off negative vibes about the children, but I said I wouldn’t let it ruin the experience being that it was a milestone birthday. Fast forward I went a second time, this time with 4 children and friends. We were quickly seated outside (not offered the inside) in a plastic tent area. I thought this would be better since we have children. Well let me tell you, they couldn’t wait to get us out of there. The staff was rude and would constantly give the children dirty looks and make comments. This was to the point where we took our food to go and left (keep in mind our bill was 200+) . I swore I would never go back again! A year later my girlfriends and I said let’s give it another try (it’s conveniently close to our homes). We were a party of 3 adults and 4 children. Everything was going fine, until we had to start begging for utensils, continuously raising our hands for water and stalking the waitress to order more. It was almost as if they were purposely ignoring us so that we could finish and leave. The kids were very well behaved, until it got late and one got a little restless. Well that’s all it took to break the camels back. The waiters started with the snarky stares. The children then got up and started walking to us for hugs, or wanted to sit on our laps. Well we must have missed the sign “Not allowed to get up unless you’re leaving or choking”! The waitress started rolling her eyes and staring. One of our children grazed her thigh on accident when they were trying to walk towards one of us and she quickly looked at the child as if it was a gremlin and said don’t touch me. I replied oh she didn’t mean to, the waitress just brushed me off. When we received the bill, they added a gratuity bc we were considered a large party and they added a cc fee without asking how we were actually paying. So if you don’t look and you pay cash, you will be paying a hidden fee.I am definitely not going there ever again! Who wants to pay 200+ and feel like you are a nuisance! Very rude staff and owners!!!! Sorry not sorry!

We had high expectations about this place , i was there with my family orders pizza witch was good only , 2 ppl order lamb and both lamb chops were the worst presentation with fries ?♂️no seasonings dry and both plates had one chop was just the bone when we asked how could chef serve it like this the answer by the waiter was chef serves by pounds !!! Really how about just bones and you reach the amount of pounds and thats it… burrata $18 more prosciutto in it than burrata ?♂️etc… you need to work more on presentation and good quality otherwise it will become only a good picca spot not a restaurant, Lamb chop need to be marinated and goes with rice or salad or vegetables… let me know if you guys do any good changes ill come back to try it.

We were seated immediately with menus and after ordering our appetizers we had to ask for water multiples times. We were finally given water 10-minutes later way after we placed our order. We had to ask several different waiters not only for the water, but for bread too. Our entrees were given at different times forcing the table to wait for everyone to get their food. And because we had to wait, food was getting cold. During our entrees, we again had to ask multiple waiters for refills of our water. After ordering our desserts, half the table got their ice cream, while the rest had to wait for their cakes. When we asked about the remaining desserts, the waiter looked like he didn't know what we were talking about even though we saw him input the dessert order. So quickly after, we got our tiramisu. But our chocolate cake was still missing and in total we had to wait 30-minutes for that. The excuse was that the chocolate cake takes 20-minutes. If that's the case then they should've waited to bring out all the desserts at the same time. At this point, there are no waiters coming to refill our waters or to ask how we were doing. When it was time to pay, I understand that we were a big party and tip was already included, but the fact that as we signed for the bill, it asked for more tip! I don't know if this is because tip was already included, and the staff felt like they didn't to treat us well. This was very disappointing for a night that was supposed to be for celebration. Good food will never trump bad service.

That's not what I was expecting. Eviroment is good, food is ok they don't even bring you bread ?, we notice the quantity of food compare to other restaurants was poor and the taste could be better. I was expecting more flavor on the food.
Went for lunch. The service was great The food was so delish. The octopus was super tender. The pizza was a nice thin crust. The crab pasta was so amazing. I would recommend this place.
Delicious, authentic, flavorful food--have to go if you're looking for some of the best Italian in Astoria. Everything was delicious, especially the eggplant rollettini and all sauces. The ambiance was nice and quiet but not stuffy, it's in a great location near Astoria Park. Service was ok, we generally like to be left alone for the most part but still had to go out of our way to get their attention while not busy. Would absolutely return.
