Very friendly staff. Thought this was a coffee shop due to the name on Google and always walked mad far to other European/middle eastern grocery stores. Glad I found this place literally down the street from me! The staff is way friendlier here too.

This store takes EBT for daily baked spinach or cheese pies and other good lunch items. Full of well-priced specialties from Greece, Romanian tradition, Balkans and the Near East. Goat yogurt in fridge is a must.

What a little gem in Astoria. Very fresh nuts, coffee tea etc. what amazed me was their house made puff pastry in the frozen section. It was so good and took our home baked goods into another level! Highly recommend to come in to find some good snack and good eats!!

Parrot Coffee of Astoria. From what I know, there are 2 in Sunnyside and another one in Maspeth, Queens. Feels like a mama and papa store with lot of European (Specializing Balkan region, Mediterranean, Turkish products from cookies, coffee, pastas, meats! They have in-house pizzeria, too. Lot of Italian coffee brands that are famous like illy, Lavazza and local brands like Brooklyn Roasters, etc etc. On the last stop of N or Q line Ditmars Blvd. Highly recommended ? ??
