The pho was piping hot and delicious. Small little restaurant so pretty laid back. Beware the chili oil is spicy AF. Prepare for the pho sweats :)

4.5 for a takeout order of the classic banh mi. Bread was a great texture, crispy crust with soft inside, nice balance of pate and tender meat with shredded pickled veggies. I just forgot to ask for spicy and I would have enjoyed some jalapeño and hot sauce as well, but that’s on me. Very excited to have this place now since I haven’t had a banh mi this good in western Queens.

For $16, you’d expect substantial meat. But no, it was little, and it was dry like it’s not mixed in well with the broth. Not worth the price. Taste was fine.

A wonderful Viet addition to the neighborhood! They have great portions for the price and their protein options are all so savory and delicious! My favorite entree is the vermicelli noodle salad with catfish. It is so filling and refreshing. The pho is fantastic too, but there is sadly no vegetarian option since they only have beef broth. Their tacos are also a great appetizer option! They are never too crowded since they just opened up.

I recently had the chance to try out Pho Astoria, and I have to say, it was a great experience overall. While there are a few small areas that could improve, the food, atmosphere, and value make this spot a worthy stop for anyone craving a hearty bowl of pho.
Let’s start with the pho. I was really impressed by the variety of options available. Whether you’re in the mood for chicken, beef, or even tofu, they’ve got you covered. What’s great is that almost all of the pho options are priced the same at $16. At first, I thought this price was a little steep for a bowl of pho, but that concern quickly disappeared when the food arrived. The portion sizes are huge—definitely enough to fill you up and maybe even take some leftovers home. The pho here is really delicious as well! The restaurant itself has a casual, welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down with friends or family for a nice, relaxed meal. Service was friendly, and attentive, and I didn’t feel rushed at any point during the meal.
The only reason I’m not giving Pho Astoria 5 stars is that while the pho was great, the price may still feel a little high for some people if they’re used to cheaper pho spots in the city. But again, the portion size and quality really do make it worth it.

Beef stew. I was wrong.
Big ( American style to hide the taste…),
Beef very little ( the most expensive “pho”), salty and acceptable if you hungry. Since not to many know the real taste of “pho” it will work.
Still looking for real “pho” made by Vietnamese not …other Asian nations. Is like using an iPhone made by…Korea

Ive came here 2 times and ive had nothing but good things to say. Today i came and the person that took our order she was extremely rude from taking our order to the moment she brought my food. The Pho has always been so delicious.. Today im not sure what happened. The pho noodlea were stale and the broth was not broth it was water. No flavor & cold. I will not be coming here again. This is just terrible.

Got the flank and brisket pho and it was alright. The broth wasn’t as rich as I would have liked. The protein to noodle ratio seemed alittle off. Would have liked more meat. I hate when they cut the summer rolls in half. The rice paper on the rolls were so thin and fell apart when I grabbed it.

This is my new lunch go to spot! Everything I've tried is really solid and the portions are generous. You can't go wrong with the Beef Flank & Brisket Pho - hits the spot everytime. Happy to have some more diverse food options in the neighborhood!

Vegetarian options: Nearly one vegetarian option in every category, best is the noodle salad or rice dish!

Solid pho. Tasty and large portion, both broth and meat. 4 stars because pho is pricier than it should be. Especially the extra toppings being triple the price most pho spots charge.

Amazing pho!! Excellent flavor, brilliant recipes. I’ve had take out and dine in and the portions are enormous. Enough for two meals. Best broth I’ve had at any Asian restaurant!! I’m now constantly craving it! Bang for your buck
