I don’t usually write reviews unless I really feel like a place deserves it—and Pokéworks Astoria absolutely does. Life is hectic, but I’m making time for this because every visit here leaves us smiling.
My husband is very particular about how his bowl is made—he likes everything compartmentalized and not mixed. Not only did the employee listen, but they were so mindful and took extra care to make sure everything was separated exactly how he likes it. That kind of attention to detail means a lot.
Every single time we come in, the staff is in a genuinely good mood, super kind, and makes us feel welcomed. It’s rare to find consistent great service like this. Whoever the manager is—I truly hope you appreciate your team. They’re amazing, and they’re the reason we keep coming back.

I was craving a poke bowl for the longest time. This place did not disappoint! I ordered the Spicy Ahi Tuna with a side of spicy Edamame and WOW! It was absolutely delicious! Tuna was excellent and high quality. The vegetables were very fresh and the chilli oil that comes with the spicy edamame was great. No complaints at all! Great food, great customer service!
