Queens Comforts has been on my bucket list for years and we finally made up our mind to try when they announced their closure.They shortened their business hours to start at 5:00pm. We arrived there at about 4:30pm and there was already a long line around the corner.The menu was limited with only their signature options but we still had a difficult time to decide. To anyone complaining about a small menu, go to hell. This is a restaurant open right now. Take what you can get. And what you can get is DELICIOUS. Great drinks and food and service and felt safe the entire time. Thank you for a great lunch!
If you’ve never been to Queen’s Comfort for brunch, you haven’t had the best brunch in NYC! Host James Avatar will make you feel right at home, cracking great jokes while waiting in line and making sure everyone feels right at home. The guys behind the bar kept us well supplied with orange juice and brunch suggestions. You do have to bring your own booze; there’s a corner store where you can get champagne for $20-30 for mimosas.
