This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Astoria, possibly all of Queens! The food is always so satisfying and home-y, pretty much like mom-made food that I grew up on. Love their lamb korma especially and the fennel chicken curry which is very simple and comforting, home style curry. The paneer makhani and parsi shrimp curry are also amazing, as are most of the dishes they serve really. And the service is always top notch, super friendly and helpful staff and delivery is quick. The food and service has remained consistent throughout the years, and the restaurant has only gotten better with their move to the new location on 30th Ave. Occasionally I've wished they would introduce a new item or two on the menu, but other than that it's still a neighborhood gem and our go-to for South Asian food in Astoria.
Update: we moved out of Astoria after decades and still go back to Seva or pick up food from there at any opportunity when we're passing through the neighborhood. I will always be a fan!
This place is delicious for takeout and for eating in! We always get the butter chicken medium spicy and the lamb biryani. Would highly recommend this spot!

Food is fresh, hot and amazing. I ordered from uber eats 4 times. Definitely the best. Edit: i visited the restaurant 2 weeks ago. It was amazing!!!! The staff were very nice, very hardworking. Especially that guy Kazi. He ensured everything was going good. The place is very clean & hygienic. Usually i never tip but tipped this time for the good service i had. Suggestion: go at night its an amazing dine in at night. The tables had candles and flowers. I suggest you invite someone there for dinner. The food is delicious. I ordered mild saag paneer and garlic naan and vegetable samosa also gulab jamun is amazing also the best about it is that the waiters are going around refilling the water cups with cold water for the customers. Very good service. My experience here was top ? and the best about it that they have a 3 course meal you get desert, appetizer, main dish. All for $25 so it was cheap for me. The food was very flavorful. They were very kind and welcoming. Best vibes i had! ??❤️

I recommend the Masala, squash soup, garlic naan, and rice pudding
For a tasty smoothie try the Mango Lassi, you won’t regret stopping in! Me and the wife were very content both visits. Thanks for a wonderful evening dining experience!
Seva is my go-to neighborhood spot! Perfect for vegetarians, I highly recommend the paneer makhani and vegetable samosas. The quality is always great both for delivery and in-person, and they’ve been consistently delicious over the last four years.
Dietary restrictions: I have been here with someone with a peanut allergy and they were very accommodating.

Food is really solid here (outside of measly portion sizes) but tonight the wait time was absolutely awful to get our food, 45+ minutes to get two very simple entrees. Staff was completely consumed/focused on the dozens of delivery orders coming in so tables were ignored in terms of refills/service and food was brought out much later than it should've been due to this. Been a dozen times but won't go back after tonight.
