This is a review of the 'Pop-up' brunch by Trestoria at Snowdonia.
I had the Prix Fixe 60 minute bottomless brunch cocktail, starter and main for $42, yes $42, incredible value for money, top notch service, friendly atmosphere and great location.
Highly recommended!

Great bar, lots of fun events. Fish and chips is a must. New brunch with Trestoria is really yummy, avocado toast and endless mimosas!

Found this little spot, looking for a place to grab an after work cocktail. My initial impression was that it was a dive bar as it gave that feeling. However upon entering, I immediately saw that it was more. Boating some very unique live music and some delightfully displayed finger food. The drinks were a bit under-made, but were not all bad. All in all this little spot is worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Waitress was great but the food is seriously sub par. So easy to get bangers and mash right but the yorkshires were just not on point, gravy was a grey sludge and sausages were not sausages but some kind of strange semi-inedible mush.
Music? If you like ska, you’ll love this place. I wanted Tom Jones, stereophonics and lost phrophets, instead I got a trumpet infested butchering of come on Eileen.
Love wales, this place does not do it justice xoxo

Now that the rest of the bars in the neighborhood are turning into overpriced spaceships, this place is a welcome respite.

Terrific food. They made mushy peas into something edible, which takes some doing. Leek potato soup is to die for.

Always happy! I will continue to suggest going there whenever my wife & I think about dining out. (Fish & Chips, WOW)!
Love this place. Great mood and always an interesting movie playing. LOVE the food- every burger is delicious, the fried pickles are my fav side, and the mac and cheese is my husband’s usual. I go there for a quick beer, open mic comedy on Tuesdays, and I’ve even rented out the place for a special event (where my guests loved all the small bites on their app menu). Bonus points for a super quirky bathroom which is like a little study/library.

Snowdonia is so cool! It's become my local for great food and friendly staff. Others who are there are quite welcoming and I enjoy the atmosphere overall. They recently posted a $10 food and beer weekday happy hour menu which I'm excited about. Check it out you won't be

Been here before and really solid food and service. That was about 2 years ago though. Went tonight and service was subpar to say nicely. Took about an hour to get our food which was fish and chips, with dragon wings and poutine. Majority of it being fried food and not even close to full bar. Gentleman bartender was asked about the dragon wings(different name they gave for chicken wings) and he was a bit condescending stating it wasnt a mystery meat just their name for it. Drinks took a minute to come to us and I was only brought a refill without asking but not my wife. Really hoping this was a one off tonight. Will go back to retry though. The first time was a great experience but this last trip was very disappointing.

The kitchen is a bit slow for how crowded the place was. The fish and chips were not fresh I'm sorry to tell you. We got horrible diarrhea after this meal. Cool place maybe just for drinks.

As good as it gets in Astoria. Service is solid and the food is interesting. Read a book or two in the bathroom

955 Welsh-themed gastropub with a twist. Snowdonia is a Welsh-themed gastropub on the Astoria/LIC border. We decided to visit it back in May. At that time, the opening hours were confusing, and one of the waitpersons said their hours had changed from late afternoon to early afternoon.! The first time we arrived was May 6, but Snowdonia had been closed off for an event until late afternoon, so we were turned away. Instead, we headed over to the Arepas Lady. The following week, we returned and waited until approximately 2 p.m. Snowdonia had kept their late weekend opening times on the website. Still, we found out they were serving food in the early afternoon. Going inside, Snowdonia is not the largest of gastropubs in the area. Though they have outside dining and are pet-friendly, we headed to the main dining area. I had spent many a summer in Wales and remember vividly the sheep on the moors. Now, what to order? My partner had never eaten rarebit before, and I had never eaten it since high school. I had forgotten entirely about the sandwich. My partner ordered the shepherd's pie as well, and I ordered the St David's Bryger. It is unlike any American burger you have eaten before. It was dryer with a little less flavor. the way I remember my burgers in the UK to taste. That brought back a lot of memories. And the tater tots, which I forgot to mention, were pretty good too.
I ordered my burger medium well and received it still with a pulse… I was too disgusted to eat this however my boyfriend ate his burger and spent the whole day sick. Stay away from this place. It’s a health risk.
