Tacoshi was amazing. From the DJ to the customer service, it was unbelievable. This establishment is very trendy and should be commended on an amazing job they do. I will keep going here.
The place was nice, food was great, service was lacking we were sat in the back took so long for a server to attend us, didn't wait for the full order to be taken, food came out with the appetizers all together, although to food was amazing , service was subpar.
I always get the best sushi and Karol's service is very attentive and friendly I'm really looking forward to coming back.
Highly recommended.
Dined here last night around 9pm the food was alright nothing out of the ordinary. The drinks were good we got a lychee martini and a lemon drop with a hookah and the hookah was not the best for $40. The service was terrible no one came around to see if we liked our food (even though we left most of it on the plate) they just didn’t care if we needed another drink or anything. Felt like I was begging. Really wouldn’t come again.

Came here with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed all of their plates. The music was a great vibe, making the ambience even better. The cocktails were very good also. Will definitely be coming again!

It was a nice experience, the ambience and vibe was beautiful. I went with my husband and the food was amazing, as well as the presentation. The service was moderate. They did get one of our main courses wrong but quickly made an effort to correct it, and the food did come out super fast. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would rate it an 8 out of 10.
The place, the employees and the vibes were great, however they can definitely work on being more attentive and also their dessert menu was not the tastiest. The food took quite a while to come out and everyone's food came out at different times which was a bit odd but we were a big group so maybe that's why but I think that can be worked on specially when people make large reservations ahead of time. I will say though I would absolutely return for their Sushi and drinks which were amazing.
Came here late at night and they were super friendly and quick to take the order. I had no idea this restaurant closes at 2 AM, so we gave it a try and it exceeded our expectations! FYI, this is not the typical Japanese restaurant. This is a Latin fusion sushi style restaurant. We asked for Sake and they said they did not have it, so if you are expecting something Japanese fully, then this is not the place to go. Great flavor, quick and tasty. If you’re in the area please give it a try!

(4.3/5 stars) very good Latin sushi fusion spot. A little slow with the food coming out but overall good. The service was good with the girls. They had a dj on Saturday night which played great music. The drinks were good, but a little light! Overall though, they have good energy for a sushi Latino spot and they have good seating. Would go again!

The place in itself is nice, great music, and good food. But one thing that ruined our first experience was that the place was extremely hot, we asked the waiters multiple times to turn on the air conditioning. Despite our multiple requests the place never cooled up. I hope this issue gets resolved by our next visit.

We visited Tacoshi in Astoria about two weeks ago, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The sushi was just okay—definitely nothing memorable—and felt a bit overpriced for the quality.
What really ruined the night, though, was the service. There were only two parties dining: us and a party of two with a dog. While the dog was adorable, it became clear that our server was more focused on interacting with the other guests and the dog than actually attending to our table. We tried multiple times to get her attention, but she repeatedly ignored us, barely glancing in our direction. Despite how empty the restaurant was, our food still took a long time to arrive.
To top it all off, the tip was automatically included on the bill without our consent—which felt unfair given the poor service. Overall, it was not the experience we were hoping for, and we wouldn’t return.
