I went here for lunch and enjoyed the portions for the lunch special price. I went again for dinner and the food was solid overall but I found the meat to be a little dry both visits. There is a nice dining room but it can be a challenge as the music is turned up very loudly and there is a bird noise, also loud, which sounds every time the front door opens - this gets old quickly, especially on top of the very loud music.
Food is good, but as expected salty. Sandwiches are large. Place is small and friendly but music is fairly loud.Maduro of course are excellent, and bachalaito was also, as were tostadas. Main courses also quite large.
Vegetarian options: A few things for vegetariand but a very meat-centric menu

Ive been here a few times and each time has delivered. Flavorful food is authentic and feels like it was prepared by a family member rather than a resturant. The place is small but has a nice ambiance. The staff are attentive. No notes

First I want to say that the waiter was exceptional. But disappointed with the food. The chicken empanadas came out cold. I had the pork chops and rice, and as a cook I notice that the rice was reheated. It wasn't fresh and pork chops under cooked. It took really long for the food.

It was so important for us to highlight our cultures through the food we chose for our wedding. 🇵🇷🇯🇲We catered from this restaurant for on the strength of the reviews (never having tasted the food before), and let me tell you, they DID NOT disappoint!
Everyone loved the food! We wish we had time to sit down and eat at our wedding but we’re soo happy that everyone enjoyed themselves during the dinner! People called us just to tell us the food was amazing!
I HIGHLY recommend! The communication was on point from beginning to end! The catering brochure was easy to find on their social media and it made ordering very easy. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vegetarian options: We ordered the avocado salad, empanadas, alcapurrias, etc.

This is my fourth visit, and I must say, Maria consistently exemplifies the warm hospitality of our beloved island. Her service is exceptional and truly enhances the experience. The food is outstanding, capturing the rich flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine, and the coffee is simply unparalleled. I even purchase the beans to enjoy at home!
Get here!!! 🇵🇷 💪🏽

This is not Puerto Rican food, I tried the steak and it is not how Puerto Ricans prepare it, it is a piece of meat cooked on a grill, it is dry without flavor with a few onions, the rice is amagollao without flavor, the beans were good and some sorullitos of corn that I ordered were also good. The food is expensive for what it is, I do not recommend this restaurant as Puerto Rican food, nothing to do with Puerto Rican food
