The Gully NYC has been an experience?.The spices are rich and the right temperatures for the bites, drinks and meals. Mango Lassi, puris and the butter chicken it was.This place got my attention to come back a couple of times to experience the rest of the kitchen.

Over fried samosa’s, lamb karahi was more like 4 piece lamb, peppers n onions in gravy. That’s not karahi ?♂️ worst experience not going bk. Oh Yh dum biryani was outta dum ?my desi people would understand what I am saying?Kati roll was made with frozen paratha ?♂️

12/5/21- first time ordered from this place.Drove there for few minutes.After eating their food I felt I waisted my time / money. They made samosa chat seems mixed in salt I couldn’t eat it, directly toss into the rubbish bin , lamb vindaloo - seems they used ready made spices into it and lamb was not cooked properly I barely could eat half naan with it so that’s also not been touched after, now I am afraid to eat their butter chicken and briyani don’t know how horrible that would be. I would not recommend anyone to go there unless you want to waist your time and money. ❌ on my desi restaurants list.

Came in the other day with my friend for my birthday dinner and the food did not disappoint. It was a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but our server Stephanie was very nice and attentive through out service. Food is a must try and the decor is very inviting and fun.

Seriously this food was trash. Stomach hurt literally right after. Not flavorful at all or spicy (all my spicy folks you will be disappointed with that alone. Drinks were very sweet. Service was slow and bad, girls too forever just to come over to get you started on order. I know people only rave about the mac and cheese but even then have heard mixed reviews which is why I opted to try things that sounded more flavorful. Shrimp and lamb (not cooked well) was disappointing.

Fusion restaurant indeed. Almost everything with a twist. We tried Guac Dahi Puri, Chicken Tikka Kati Roll, Chicken Tikka Mac & Cheese, Calamari Tempura Chaat and Rasmalai Tres Leches for dessert. The Guac Dahi Puri was pre-made and dense with yogurt and guac so got soggy. Rasmalai Tres Leches was fantastic. We skipped main course dishes cause we wanted to try several of the unique appetizer dishes and the verdict: good food. I won't go as far as saying Wow food but good and of quality Masala chai was on point and only $1. Vibe is great with an auto rickshaw and old school Bollywood movie posters. Will bring back a lot of memories especially if you grew up in India. Music was good but annoyingly loud. Service was okay. Parking is tough.

We are North Indian and know the taste of great food. I liked some of the dishes. Ambient was great in and out. All the bollywood fil.s posters and hand created films posters were awesome.We ordered snacks that were great. Entrée was good but could have better. I have another issue that they provided small plates for snacks and dinner. Service host was great doing her best to keep up. Appreciate it

I really wanted to love this place, given it’s Bangladeshi owned, however it’s not hygienic. There was a WHOLE FLY in our Chicken Tikka Mac N Cheese. It was deep within the dish too; we had already ate 80% of it. It totally ruined any appetite we had.They did have okay customer service and took the charge off the bill; however I wasn’t satisfied. I felt like the meal should have been free (we only ordered two things, the mac & cheese and a cheesecake so I don’t think it was too much to let the cake go).Nonetheless, I’ll not come here again given the hygiene of the restaurant. If you care about hygiene; I do not recommend it at all.
