Made a reservation for 5:30 PM on a Saturday however I showed up a half hour early and the place was somewhat empty so unsure if reservation was truly necessary. After we settled down and ordered our startup cocktail, we proceeded to the dinner menu and to be quite honest, everything came out appealing and very appetizing. I have nothing negative to comment. Overall, a nice local establishment with great hospitality and I will no doubt I'll be back soon and try the rest of the menu.
Pomeroy is always great. But the reservation was for 3:30 — about the time their kitchen closed. This caused them some confusion and distress and for us as well — who knew the kitchen would close? Maybe accommodate Pomeroy by not having the 3:30 option or note that maybe this is for the bar only (at 3:30)? So the rating isn't really for them. - it's for you, Open Table.
As usual the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a special entree Chicken Scarpariello, which was outrageously delicious and should be added to the regular menu!!
Great food. I will return!

Went for my first brunch in the area last weekend and no regrets. The servers were really sweet with my kids! definitely a kid-friendly spot with the coloring books 🙌 The music was actually good too. And please, don’t miss the açaí bowl and the chicken & waffles, both were really good

Had some time to kill before an appointment and popped in for a drink during happy hour. Loved my cocktail, the Astoria sunset. Friendly bartender and regulars. Didn’t eat but the food looked great. Will definitely return!

we have been in Asoria for about a year now. have tried all the best restaurants (miss L'Incontro)... POMEROY gets most consistently good everything and some things great. Salads... Burgers... pork chopl.. vege sandwich... great beer on tap .. great cocktails ... and professional friendly people and service. HUZZAH... we just keep liking it more every time we go. And P.s. .. the chicken special night with Manhattans... WOW

First brunch in Astoria and we decided on The Pomeroy, my friends and I were drawn to the Chicken and Waffle pictures and was the main factor why LOL.
Anyway, pretty cool place. Surprisingly not packed on a Saturday at 1PM but we took that as more space for us then. :)
Maria was our waitress and she took good care of us. Funnily enough we all went for the Steak & Eggs for the protein kick but since Chicken and Waffles were the reason why we were there, we decided to order it for the table so we can share. Steak & Eggs were good, came with potatoes & greens. Chicken & Waffles were yum and we couldn't finish it (no surprise) and didn't really need to take it home since we were all heading somewhere after. My friends went for the 90 mins. Bottomless drinks for $20 where they could interchange mimosas, bloody marys etc. I went for the Astoria Sunrise mocktail which was pretty good actually for $10 each. Prices are pretty fair and can appreciate that. Great value for brunch!

I like this spot! But don’t come for brunch, the two young women working on Saturdays will ignore you :( we wanted bottomless brunch! Maybe I’ll come back on a weekday instead, the other guy w glasses is great! Ugh and the food and drinks are good here too, just not the Saturday brunch service!

This is a laid back cozy restaurant/bar that serves very good food. We ordered the Mac and cheese and the mixed greens burrata salad both portions were huge! We were three people and couldn’t finish two appetizers. The Mac and cheese was FANTASTIC! I’m going to order it as a dinner the next time I come. The burrata salad was very good. For dinner we had the prime rib and the chicken parm. My husband enjoyed his prime rib. My sister and I loved our chicken parm dinners! The smoked mozzarella was delicious! For dessert we had the apple pie and the carrot cake. The apple pie was very good and the carrot was excellent! The only problem with the carrot cake is there was barely any frosting on it. It definitely needed more frosting! I recommend The Pomeroy in Astoria!

Great burgers, fantastic service from Dianne and the team. Convenient to the end of the subway line in Astoria at Ditmars Blvd.

Ordered online -spent $50 on their wings and mac.
No lie - How can they give me chicken with the feathers still attached. Looks unappetizing, something you would send back. Posted the photos too. Literally Every Wing.
The wings are over cooked to the point of char. The honey garlic was placed on the side, never requested that. Now the sauce is cold and thick, can barely glaze the wings. Not only that the kitchen forgot the yogurt dip. Requested utensils, not even a napkin was packed. Wth is going on - just a waste $$$
I've had some of the best fried chicken in Astoria here at the Pomeroy. Tried it again after a couple months and it was ALMOST as good as it has been in the past, just the chicken was a little less flavorful than it has been in the past (needed a little more spice and salt, and should've had a little less oil as it felt a bit greasy; perhaps the oil wasn't up to to temperature when the chicken went in). Overall, an excellent experience, and I'll give the chicken another shot in a few months.
We did enjoy the mocktails, too! Even though it's a bit of a walk from me, I still can't recommend this place enough!
