GREEDY!!!Went there yesterday for Iftar with friends, place is nice , we got a nice table! I ate there before i liked it ! This time chicken was little dry and salad seems to be premade, but understandable since it was Iftar time!We all ordered chicken gyro plater , we ordered the small one from the menu! We were told from the waiter we can order only the large one , which we did but non of us finished !This is the reason for 2 star review, cuz they take advantage of you going there for Iftar, food go to waste and costumers overspend, just they can reach their goal to oversell!

I did order one Ramada item which is there are showing $40 but when I see receipt it show $44 plus tax all the down. I ordered extra hummus and one rice pudding from there display item it was in medium soil bowl but when I took it home it was one plastic small box in the bag. I was disappointed that there hidden charge and showing something but giving something when you do take it out.

Excellent food, always fresh, well seasoned, great portions, simple dishes with a lot of flavor, menu is very easy to read and understand.Everyone in here is always kind and helpful so me and the family always feel welcomed.During warmer weather there is a back patio which is always nice to enjoy.This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit here is Astoria.

I refuse to pay with my own money, I refuse to refer others to this location including my family. The food is mediocre at best. It could be better. The food I ordered last night was dry and the rice had no flavor. I couldn't finish my meal, I took it home only to throw it in the garbage. I asked for a Coke and instead they brought me a ginger-ale. I love Coke. And there have been other occasions in the past where the waiter would not acknowledge anyone at the table but the person paying, very rude. I find Italian people to be more friendlier and the food to be more of higher quality. But my friend thinks this location is incredible, I don't want to argue with him. His problem if he wants to spend his money at this restaurant. That will be the last time I visit Truva, even if my friend begs me to join.
