I just moved to the area, and I've given Tufino a couple of tries since. I'm just not impressed with it. We ordered pizza both times (margherita the first time, the donnie brasco the second time) and they just lack flavor. It's bland, there is zero excitement on the taste buds. It does the job in a pinch, but I always rate by whether I'd feed it to a guest- and I'd skip this one for sure.I will say they have a nice crust- but that's really all. I'd be hard pressed to come back and try anything else.Service seems okay- my husband had a good experience his first time in. I went to pick up the second time and the woman who approached me seemed overly confused as to what I was doing, even though I told her I had an order for pickup.The atmosphere of the place itself is very cute, nice lighting (candlelight), great artwork, very cozy and warm.

What a find! A friend recommended this place and I have to thank them for doing so. Would suggest the wood-fired octopus, very well done and among the dishes that will bring me back. We tried the Robiola pizza off the recommendation and if you want to mix it up from the usual pizza I would recommend. We ventured from the Italian offerings and had the Truffle Burretta Burger with prosciutto. Try it!! You will be amazed. We saw the food coming out to other dinners and it all looked delicious. Great service as well.

Great selection of Italian food and pizza! Everything I've tried on the menu I would get again. I'm usually a traditionalist about ordering something new, but I've taken some of the recommendations from the instagram page to order things I would have never thought of ordering. Great spot, casual, and trendy inside!

I went here for a date night after work and had a great time. The inside was slightly full but the service was great and the hostess made several stops by the table to check our drinks and see how we were. The pizza is amazing and made really fast as an appetizer. The pasta was so creamy it melted with each bite. I had the truffle pasta which was beyond generous with truffle garnish. The pizza was spot on and the drinks were also generous in size. We were able to share the pasta with a pizza and still left with a small bag of extras.

I've frequented Tufino's since it opened years ago and absolutely love the pizza. They also have amazing service that's spot on. Friendly, courteous and efficient. I opted to write this review because of my experience last night. I can't say I've ever seen the owner up until yesterday. He certainly made his presence known. Bossing around the staff, throwing out a young man that came to pick up an order for delivery and so on. Extremely boisterous and very bad for business. I don't expect to stress out when I go to eat. The icing on the cake was when we finished eating. Tufino's texts me regularly to entice me to go back (10% off, 15% off, free desert, etc) No need to cause I love the place. Yesterday, I decided to use the last text message for a free desert since we had a young man at the table. The waiter came back humbled to tell me that the owner will not honor it because he decided he doesn't want to be a part of this promotion. What??? I paid the $185.00 bill and left. I truly left saddened at the fact that I have to not go back again, on principal only. I can not support nor provide financial gain to someone that does not respect his customers or people in general. To add insult to injury, as I walked out, a new text popped up on my phone since I had just paid. So much for customer service
I came here for a birthday dinner and the food was great! They have gluten free and vegan options too. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about allergies. Will definitely be back!

We had lunch from Tufino at my office recently. Obviously everyone appreciates employer-provided lunch, but if I'm being honest, our catered meals are usually a little bit on the fast food-y side. It was a nice change to have something that felt like a real, home-cooked meal- served by warm people to boot. Everything looked appetizing, but I had the penne alla vodka, meatballs, and farro salad- all very good. I don't visit Astoria often, but will keep this place in mind for the next time I do!

Incredible burger! It’s the only one on the menu and it rivals some of the best burgers I’ve eaten in New York City. I’ve been to Donovan’s, Corner Bistro, and Peter Lugers Steakhouse and this burger should be in the same group. The wings are also phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. Very homey and quaint location to get a drink and try a variety of top notch food. Will be going back for the burger.
