Easy to see why there are long lines to get in. The aroma as you approach the Catskill Bread Co. will certainly draw you in. I particularly enjoyed the sweet, moist cinammon roll. This decadent spiral of fluffy, tender dough with the cinammon brown sugar filling was absolutely amazing. We also got the tomato focaccia bread which was a sensory delight with its crisp golden exterior and pillowy soft interior. My only advice is to get here early before they sell out.

We got a cinnamon roll and it was delicious! It was plenty of flavor and the dough had a nice chew to it. Tiny spot, austere, it’s great. After sharing it with our family, we decided to go back and get another roll and a focaccia... it was amazing!

Simple presentation - baked goods in a glass. Metal racks behind the counter with all the same items from the glass to replenish. Nothing flashy or gimmicky here. None of that is necessary- delicious bread, cinnamon rolls, ridiculously incredible focaccia. The door opened at 12noon - we arrived around 12:15pm and he was already running low. People around here know this is the place to go for amazing baked goods! Every bite was tasty enough to come back minutes later for more. The freshest, softest, tastiest focaccia I’ve ever had!

Why you ask? Because they make a limited amount of bread and when it’s gone it’s gone. …and it’s always gone.
Is it just hype? Is it just a gimmick? Ok you caught me, it’s a gimmick. The bread is just average and overpriced. Don’t go. Don’t tell your friends. Stewarts is a block away and has plenty of bread that’s cheaper and they rarely run out. Go there.
