“My kids and I visited here for lunch. It was such a cozy spot filled with the aroma of delicious food. We were instantly greeted with smiling faces as soon as we walked in. My kids had grilled cheese, I had the chicken salad sandwich. So good! Looking forward to visiting again during warmer weather, so we can enjoy the outdoor seating too!”

“We were out and about in Hudson today and we were a little hungry so we stopped into kitties and I had probably one of the best egg sandwiches I ever had. I highly recommend the egg sandwich with sauerkraut. The vibe in there was very comfortable iced coffee Was nice and strong. They had a great bakery selection and a lot of local products. So if you’re coming out of the train station in Hudson, I say swing by kitties you won’t be sorry.”

“Found this spot on Google while I was upstate and thought it was worth the 20 mins drive. It was!!! The pastries are delicious, service was great and tons of options to choose from. I loved it so much I even bought a t-shirt and 2 dog baguette toys for my pups. If you’re in the Hudson Valley area, and hungry (… and rich! lol), def make a stop here”

“Our favorite dinner place of the five dinners in Hudson. The Gemelli pasta with Wild Mushrooms was so delicious as was the swordfish with summer beans. Both were perfectly cooked and the presentation was beautiful.

We also loved the Tuscan Kale with truffle honey and Ricotta Salada.

Service was excellent.”

“We had a most extraordinary Sunday brunch at The Maker Cafe yesterday. We were there by chance, around 1 pm, and are so glad we found this lovely spot with a most attentive staff. We're not spring chickens, and we much appreciated the help getting seated, the delicious butternut squash soup, the fabulous eggplant alla parmgiana sandwich, the broccoli salad. Thanks to you all - we loved it, and we look forward to coming to the restaurant some evening soon.”

“This restaurant is exceptional in every capacity! I'm hardly a foodie; I eat very simple foods during the week (eggs, real butter, olive oil, buttermilk, whey protein, Greek yogurt, etc), so when I go out to eat, I seek both a nutritious menu, more extensive meals of variety, while allowing myself to indulge too. Everything about this restaurant is excellent, and I highly recommend it! I was there Late Afternoon on Sunday, which I concluded to be an ideal time to go. Continued Success, and Thank You!”

“We had a hard time finding the place at first. but we're glad we did. :) Good beer, good vibe and the food was delicious. We had a smashburger and fries, the deviled eggs, and the hand cut chicken bites which I loved and were served with the tastiest ranch sauce I've ever had. Will definitely come back again next time we're in the area.”

“Stopped here after our hike and the beer really hit the spot. Their pilsner is so refreshing and the vibe is really nice, super spacious. They don’t sell food except for light snacks but there is a food truck nearby.”

“If I lived in the area, I would be hanging out here constantly! This is a welcoming, airy, beautiful place! Plenty of room for kids up front, plus an XXXL table which I imagine draws many folks for writing and drawing workshops! As you make your way to the food counter, you see many unique local artworks for sale and enjoyment. The large back part of the room is designed as a wonderful space for music and poetry readings, with a small stage, great natural and interior lighting and comfortable seats. We missed the Monday morning music, but we just needed a quick snack and respite at the time. Many have reported on the great food, which we will return for! We loved our coffee and our peaceful time there. Cafe' Joust is open on Mondays, as is the amazing Magpie Books which is just down the street.”

This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! “The Juice Branch has amazing smoothies, bowls and sandwiches. Everyone in our family loves eating there including our kids (who are 1 and 4). George who runs the place is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and gives the place a great welcoming vibe. The smoothie menu has dozens of options but our favorites are the Showtime and the Downtown Stroll. I also recommend whatever wrap they are currently offering with oyster mushrooms.”
