“We played at Anthony's last night for a private event. If you are looking for a very clean, friendly, great food, and an absolutely beautiful place to have your event, we highly recommend it. Anthony is a great guy, and the staff was amazing too! It's very spacious. Even the restrooms were very big compared to most places. Not to mention there were 3 types of soap in the bathroom. We hope to play there again!”

“We first heard about Via Cassia while visiting Tuscany, and knowing we lived just an hour and an half away from a restaurant that we heard about from across the Atlantic, we had to come visit. We couldn’t have had a better experience! When the owners heard how we found them, they both made sure to come meet us. They were so kind and welcoming and took very good care of us! The food was absolutely incredible, and we got to enjoy the same wine we had while visiting Tuscany. Truly a 10/10 experience and we will absolutely be coming back.”

“You can’t go wrong—try everything and anything. We got a sunflower seed and olive loaf, kouign amann, plain croissant, and a baguette sandwich. Everything was delicious! I’ve never had a kouign amann so light—they’re usually a denser pastry. This was pleasant to eat and left space to eat a lot more ? I wish this bakery was closer to me, I’d be there every day. My husband likes to make bread and was blown away by the quality of the loaf and pastries!”

“We were out and about in Hudson today and we were a little hungry so we stopped into kitties and I had probably one of the best egg sandwiches I ever had. I highly recommend the egg sandwich with sauerkraut. The vibe in there was very comfortable iced coffee Was nice and strong. They had a great bakery selection and a lot of local products. So if you’re coming out of the train station in Hudson, I say swing by kitties you won’t be sorry.”

One of the things that is most important to me when visiting the local stores in Hudson is feeling welcomed when I arrive and getting the sense that the crew cares about my experience. This is so true here! I stopped in over the weekend to chat with one of the owners, George, about juice cleanses. He was friendly, accommodating, interested in what I had to say and patient in answering all of my questions. I felt at home and at ease. So key! I was also impressed with the extensive and creative menu and excited to be able to collaborate with George and make up something new that fit my needs. I was also thrilled to see a used coat bin and a pay it forward program (I was able to buy a smoothie for someone in need in the future). I stopped by again today and met Tash, the other owner, and I am happy to report that she too is a amazing! Highly recommend this gem, very close to Warren St. I am very grateful for the experience here and will be back!”

“FIRST of all best food and bakery I've ever been too in Greene county! Absolutely relaxing vibe inside with a lot of healthy but delicious options! There is ALSO now a beautiful little spot outside for the nicer weather days!I love the variety of offers on foods and baked goods! I equally love there is some consistency to the menu itself but also flavors of the weeks and specials that change weekly so I am ALWAYS getting to try new things! I have NEVER met a person working here that wasn't filled with cheer or super helpful and sweet! The owners are some of the most down to earth and kindest people I've met! "CHRISSY" is literally one of my favorite humans alive! I NORMALLY try to support local, but THIS place is dangerously addictive. I CANT recommend it more. The almond croissants specifically are to die for! The sandwiches and breads are absolutely delightful! 1000/10 recommend! EVERYTHING is homemade with love and ALWAYS sits so nice in my belly! There is a whole section inside of take home goodies like jams and loafs of bread and trail mixes ECT. “Great Jamaican Food!!! This hidden gem in Hudson/Greenport is the place to go for authentic Jamaican dishes. The owners, Randy and Anne are delightful and really care about the quality of the food they serve. I've had every dish on their menu and each one has been delicious. Portions are generous with both lunch and dinner sizes at reasonable prices. My personal favorites are their traditional Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat, Curry Chicken and Oxtails. All served with rice and peas, plantains and veggies. In colder weather they offer a hearty soup with traditional Jamaican Spinner dumplings. Whenever they have a "special" dish I always give it a try and have not been disappointed. Just yesterday they offered a special Barbeque Chicken which was sweet and savory. I certainty hope this becomes a dish they offer regularly.They are open on Wednesdays and Fridays and are my go to place for take out Wednesday dinner. They serve out of a stationary food truck with plenty of onsite parking. Food is packed for take out and there are picnic tables with umbrellas if you'd like to eat there. They are located up on the hill overlooking Fairview Ave just a bit south of Bagel Thyme. Stop by, check it out. You will not be disappointed.
