“Fantastic food and drinks. Very fresh and carefully crafted. Very nice restaurant inside with good acoustics and lighting. The menu can be a bit difficult to decipher if you’re not familiar with Spanish but the waiters are great at explaining each item, if necessary. We felt a bit bad because we were asking the waiter about everything because we had no idea what we were reading. Overall we had a great experience and would return if we came back to the area again.”

“So I was on Warren street in downtown Hudson and googled the best pancakes and ended up finding Lindsay’s the food was definitely worth the drive but the service was incredible! The waitress was so happy, kind, and attentive. Not to mention the prices are great, so you can sample a few different options and not break the bank! This place is GEM! “You have to visit this special place! They put a lot of thoughts into making each dish. The cafe is bustling for Sunday brunch. Everyone was very friendly and food came out quick. If you’re feeling adventurous their specials include some bold dishes! I truly love this place and it made Hudson such a cool town too. I prefer this restaurant to lots of Michelins. This is where you get food with a soul.We especially enjoyed the pig foot rice (it’s boneless and you don’t really see the shape of the pig foot) and stuffed duck neck (it was nothing like what we imagined; it’s kind of like a sausage. The dish has chestnut which is very special!!)Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!!”

“We stopped by this cool little cafe in Cairo on our way back home to NYC after a quick weekend in Windham. The people who work there are so warm and friendly.We ended up getting an iced latte and some of their delicious pastries, the chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and a pack of their salted chocolate chip cookies.They were kind enough to include a small madeleine on top of my latte. Everything tasted so good, it’s a shame they’re so far away. Definitely worth a stop if you’re ever in that area! :-)”

“Don't be fooled... Although the "VV" designation on the menu means that the dish is vegan, there are many more things on the menu that can be veganized! Tamale? ✅ Loaded fries? ✅. Food is quite delicious! Staff is really nice but the place can get overloaded and a touch slow at peak times.”

“I was away for the weekend with my wife in the area. I had heard so much about this place so I decided to give it a try. I assume the person that took my order was the owner and he was very friendly and pleasant. My sandwiches were made fairly quickly and I brought them back to where I was staying. We had two bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on a bagel and they were wonderful and the coffee was delicious as well.”

“This place is pretty cool! My fiancé and I stopped here on a long drive and loved it. The Chana masala and Chana saag were really great and the vegetable samosa were some of the best I’ve had. The guy’s father was the chef and he prepares it every morning and the guy just cooks it in the truck when you order it. His mom makes the samosas. There are little tables out in front of the truck to sit at if you want to stop to enjoy the food. A++Vegetarian options: The Chana masala, Chana saag, and samosas were both really great vegetarian dishes”

“Relaxing lowkey spot with some major grandma vibes. Classic American breakfast food done right. Fluffy ENORMOUS pancakes, perfect home fries, and tasty crispy bacon. Service was quick and the owners are lovely. Don't be surprised if you have to wait up to 10 minutes to be seated, it's small and clearly word has gotten out about this gem. Highly recommend!”

“This review is long overdue. Bar Bene is our favorite spot to come to when we are in Hudson. They have a beautiful backyard firepit and a great wine/charcuterie menu, which combined make the perfect relaxing evening. The owner and employees are all so friendly and warm. What a fabulous place!”

“I know being I was a past waitress at the original Piccolo’s and then a general manager until retired 11/1 many will say my review is biased but being that I have had the opportunity of being in the kitchen while the food is prepared I can 100% tell you the food and sauce is made from the best of ingredients following past recipes of Chef Rodrigo and Chef Daniel. The sauce is homemade and is authentic Italian. The specials that are posted daily are made from the talents of Chef Daniel and his staff as they pride themselves on delighting the public . The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is pleasurable. ?”
