Had a great experience at Gio's. It was News Years Eve and it was a wonderful night. Food great, service exceptional. It was just a really nice night. We were four people and we ordered dishes that we were able to get Family Style. It was perfect. We shared everything and still had some leftovers to take home. We went there over the weekend and the food was excellent. I was shocked this kind of restaurant existed so close to Long Beach. The halibut was super fresh and the green beans that came w the fish was prepared fantastically. Good job Gio's! We will be back!

Love this place. It is a cozy place and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. I have been there many times and the food is consistently top notch. We got there at 6 pm so it wasn't too crowded but by 7 the place was filled up and it was a Tuesday night. For first timers I always suggest the Eggplant Tower and Grilled Caesar Salad appetizers, delicious!
