New York Beach Club & Restaurant ( Open to Public after 6pm )

Went on Saturday night...party of 4! Extremely disappointing. We have been going for a couple of years.. beautiful view on the beach and a half way decent band. We sat ourselves and was told that it was a buffet only! The waiter...a nice kid. Ok.as we decided that if we went elsewhere on a Saturday night we would probably strike out! The buffet was 69.95 pp....well
, how dare they charge that for the crap they served. 3 cocktails 1 seltzer... uneatable food...no dessert and when we asked if they would replenish the crappy dessert we were told at 8:30 that the buffet was over..by a really rude woman! So our bill with a tip for four was $460...
Who in the management thought it was a good idea to have Passover dessert.. WTH!. Never again! You open the restaurant to the public because the cheap members don't spend money at the bar.... do yourselves a favor...stick to a basic menu. Lose the low budget wedding venue buffet...it was HORRIBLE!

We went to NYBC for dinner and dancing because we love the location on the beach on a beautiful night. DO NOT GO TO EAT THERE! They DO NOT have their act together. People were waiting over an hour for their food and when it finally came, it was wrong. One man waited an hour only to be told they don’t have what he ordered. We ordered white wine , waitress brought us a red wine. Menu states beets are tri-colored with a lemon-lime dressing. Told they don’t have that dressing. Beets come out they are all red, nothing special, with the dressing we were told they didn’t have. Manager suggests we try grilled veggies. They were ok. We told waitress we were getting up to dance and were not finished with the dish. Our phones were on the table and my lightweight sweater was on the chair. The busboys took the plate and dumped it. Manager offered us a drink….we got one. All of this was over 2 hours long! Band played and were ok. They had the crowd in a long line for their last number before their break. When you have the crowd going, you take a short break to keep them going. We waited over 50 minutes for them to come back on…they were still at the bar…probably waiting for their food. Most of the people who were dancing left. We finally left, too. Charged for the incorrect drink and veggies that were taken away. If management wants to keep customers you comp a 2 hour mess of mistakes. We never ordered an entree because we didn’t want to wait hours more. The waitress told us it was her first day and she knew nothing; waiters didn’t know how to split checks; food on menu was non -existent or came out wrong.
This WAS our go to summer place on week-ends for the past 5 years. Everything about them was POOR and SUB PAR….don’t waste your time or your money!!! Shame on NYBC for not being ready for the summer season.

This is such a beautiful place on the ocean feels like you are in the Caribbean ! Good food recommend the pizza coal fired and you can’t go wrong we also went to a Knicks watch party during the playoffs and the food spread was fantastic good music def worth a visit for a memorable night

New York Beach Club was the perfect venue for our 8th Grade Graduation Celebration! From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless thanks to Jill Kaplan, who was organized, responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making the event a success.

The venue itself was beautiful, with plenty of space for the students to enjoy the beach, outdoor activities, dancing, and time with friends as they celebrated this important milestone. The food was excellent, the setup was flawless, and every detail was thoughtfully executed.

What impressed us most was the staff. Every team member was friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout the evening. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing the students, families, and organizers to simply enjoy the celebration.

The feedback from both students and parents has been overwhelmingly positive. The kids had an unforgettable night, and many called it one of the highlights of their middle school experience.

A special thank you to Jill Kaplan and the entire New York Beach Club team for creating such a memorable event. We highly recommend New York Beach Club for school celebrations, graduations, and special events of any kind.

We recently visited this beach club through a reciprocal agreement with our club in New York City, and it exceeded our expectations. The facilities were absolutely top-notch, beautifully maintained, and offered something for everyone.

The pool was a huge hit with the kids and kept them entertained for hours. The property itself is expansive, giving members and guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy the day without ever feeling crowded.

The food was outstanding, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. The drinks were equally impressive—well-crafted, refreshing, and perfect for a day by the water.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and look forward to returning. A wonderful destination for families and adults alike.

We are back for another summer at New York Beach Club and had to share what a great experience we’ve been having so far this season. The club is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. We have seen other clubs and there is truly no comparison to what NYBC has to offer its members. Walking in this season and seeing all of the amazing upgrades made and new experiences planned for this summer has been an added bonus. It is a slice of paradise on Long Island that transports you to an instant vacation!

The staff and management team go above and beyond to make members feel taken care of, and the service is consistently excellent. Creating a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for families, individuals and guests, has always been and continues to be a top priority.

We’re so happy to be spending our summer here and look forward to making many more memories at the club this season!

Went to see a great band and have dinner. The food buffet was so bad and the quality was terrible. Starting with the salad, that was the best thing there, moved onto the selection of fried calamari and chicken tenders which were empty from the beginning at 6:15, there was mozzarella sticks which were ok, the salmon was so flavorless and the chicken was gross, 50.00 dollars was highway robbery. Luigi our waiter was nice but very busy and we had to look for him. Have to say The beach view was beautiful. Beware of the parking and the sign that says VAB. You will get ticketed.

My family and I just toured NYBC. We received an invitation for an open house from 11-1 for today, as we previously inquired about the facility. We were greeted by the manager Jill, She told us to wait by the pool for 15 minutes till she is ready to start. As we were waiting my 3 Yr old wanted to go in the pool so I told him he can go in for a few minutes just until the tour starts. Jill immediately came out of the office and informed us this was not a free beach or pool day and began to question if we were even serious in becoming members! I felt so uncomfortable but my son wanted to go on the tour since we already drove 30 min to be there. The rest of the tour her rudeness continued, saying she's not sure what we do for work or where we live but letting us know there is wifi! She clearly was given some kind of vibe that we may not be serious, i don't know what would have given her that impression. My kids are young, going to be 4 and 2 yrs old. Inviting someone to an open house as a family and not allowing the kids to explore the playground or the beach was surprising. With all of that being said we will not be becoming members.

This review is only for the Beach Club. We did not go to the restaurant although ordered online to eat at the cabana.

We had the best day at NY Beach Club! A dear friend invited us, and it was such a relaxing, family-friendly experience. The beach was quiet and clean, the vibe super chill, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. A couple of guys even came to the rescue to help with giant wasps situation. 🤪

I loved having access to clean bathrooms and real shower —huge plus! My toddler was thrilled with the pool since he’s not a fan of the ocean yet 🤪. The food was also delicious, we ordered chicken tenders (coz kids 🫠) and apparently pizza is not served on Mondays although the site let me order it anyway - just FYI.

Highly recommend if you want a low-key beach day with all the comforts - however you need a membership!

Eating outside on the beach is beautiful. The music was good. Food is subpar. Going for the ambience definitely not the food.

We had a great time! The ambiance was fun and relaxing-the live band was a wonderful touch to a beach vibe feel. Our waitress Alyssa was very attentive and helpful to ensure everything and everyone was ok. Thanks for a great experience!
