Placed an order today around 6:30, $22.50 1 order of Onion Rings 1/2 sub X2. The young women was complaining about the difficult orders she was receiving instead of Pizzas and that she doesn't even get any money til next week! My onion rings were burnt and the 1/2 Royal sub had raw sausage on it, to bad she didnt spend as much time to what she was cooking as complaining. My first and last time there!

John and Mary's has been one of my favorite places to eat since childhood when my grandparents would take me to Alden. My opinion is they have the best souvlaki, subs, pizza, and garbage plates around. Food is always perfect and consistent. The staff is so friendly.

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered a chicken finger sub and the chicken was completely raw. Noticed after I ate about half of it. Took it back, the employee said he was going to get the manager. She did not come out to apologize or say anything. He refunded my money. Never once said sorry or acted like they cared seemed as if I was a bother to go back there and complain.. Sad to say I will not be going back.

Three orders in a row, separate weeks placed pick up order only to arrive to find out they lost order. This place should be shut down until they can get competent staff. Owner should be ashamed franchise should be notified
I ordered on the phone a chicken salvaki sandwich plain I said only onions and chicken nothing else just like that I get my food and it has lettuce,cheese,tomato’s I go back in and tell the girl and she said yes the paper does say plain tell the other younger girl to drop more chicken then the older lady with blonde hair says no I’ll just take it off I didn’t bother to say anything I get back to my car and there is still lettuce and cheese on it we called and let them know what they did wrong again but by that time I wasn’t waiting any longer or going back all she said on the phone was ok no apology or nothing, I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just make new and why they would try to even wipe it off if it was their mistake they should make the customer new stuff. I use to love coming here but no longer will. I order one of theses a few weeks ago and it was messed up I didn’t say anything that time because mistakes do happen but to just wipe it off and not make new is pure laziness. Was not very happy.

$86 for 1 small and 2 large pizzas, told 45 mins, showed up 50 mins after I called and he said oh we have to get the last pizza still so 15 mins more. Ok no problem, wasn’t busy no other orders being made, but no problem. Shocked at $86 price, waited for pizza, went home and this is so gross looking, let alone the taste. The white pizza with spinach looks and tastes like they threw raw clumps of spinach and onions on afterwards and threw extra cheese over and melted to cover up the mistake. The chicken bacon ranch pizza has no ranch or bacon. the cheese pizza looks like a huge sheet of room temp mozzarella cheese with raw dough and so much sauce that your heavy sheet of cheese falls off. Should have drove the extra 3 mins to Alexander for Jdubs or even Alexander deli pizza which both have great food. Added to address Mary’s comment: This was not a pic of when pizza was ice cold, it was 10 mins after I picked it up. Never received the blue cheese actually so thanks for pointing that out and I’m sorry i was so far off on the amount I spent, $5 to be exact. The reason you give about the chicken pizza makes no sense, I asked for chicken and bacon with ranch, not bbq sauce over top of the ranch coated chicken. the clumps of frozen spinach stuffed under cheese is surely not how it is done. We have always enjoyed John and Mary’s in Alden and in arcade which is THE bEST location imo, but Attica’s is not like John and Mary’s anymore, it used to be when they first opened here but has gone to shit.

Third time ordering for pick up, get home and half of the order or more is missing. Called to let them know and all three times, “we will deliver in to you in an hour.” I live 1/4 mile away and I have a baby and kids so not convenient to pile everyone back in the car. Management is RUDE and my husband and I can’t stand going in because they aren’t pleasant at all. 3 strikes, you’re out. Never ever ordering again and word of mouth spreads fast. Nothing was offered to us, not even an apology!!! If some service recovery was put into action, I might not tell everyone I know not to order from there but I have given enough chances to keep my loyalty.
