Went in this afternoon and ordered two meals, pepper steak with yellow rice , and roast stew with yellow rice,..each $8.75 a plate. Two sodas and two flan slices. Online it totals 29 dollars. Assuming the flan was maybe 3 a slice. They charged me
$47.50 today. For the exact thing we ordered to see pricing online for pick up. Absolutely appalled at this and wished they spoke English to refund me my money. But unfortunately no they did not.

After their reopening the restaurant has had significant updates. Staff is always friendly and fast. Food is best in town. I look forward to each meal here.

So this place use to be good but the quality has gone into the gutter (all the food was super dry) and unless you get there super early their's a lot of menu options not in stock ALL THE TIME.

I am very happy that Don Juan cafe Restaurant has reopened, this restaurant has excellent stews, the food is delicious, the prices are very affordable and the staff is super friendly ! Every Tuesday and Thursday I usually eat there, I love the empanadas, I recommend it for sure.

I can’t even with this place. I live near this place, so I know the people that own and work here, but sadly, this place is gross. It brings down the value of our neighborhood. They don’t pick up the trash that their costumers litter, leaving nearby yards full of trash. The smell from the restaurant permeates the neighborhood and nearby homes, making people keep their windows closed even on the most beautiful days, & they never close the dumpers they use, which makes for a stink fest in warmer temperatures. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if this place never opens back up. I honestly hope the city comes to their senses and never allow this place to reopen.

I’m not surprised this place is closed…should have been a long time ago. It’s dirty and smelly.

We heard really good things about this place. So I had to come here and try it for myself. I ordered the beef and cheese empanadas, chicken empanada, Potato ball, pork stew meal with rice and beans, and a order of bbq ribs. The beef and cheese empanadas are good. The ribs where amazing , they fall right off the bone and have lots of meat on them. The pork stew was yummy. My dads old girlfriend was from Guatemala. The pork stew tasted exactly like she used to make I really liked it. The potato ball I could have done without. I'm so full I haven't had a chance to try the chicken empanada yet. Will definitely be coming back again. The prices are amazing. The portions are huge. Definitely more of a takeout place, however they have tables to dine at.
