We had reservations for 5:30, arrived at 5:20. Stood and waited until some one came to speak with us, to seat us. Restaurant was not busy or over crowded. …Not a good start. In addition, all of our food selections were over cooked, over salted. Over priced for what we ordered. We spoke to the waitress about our meals, she did try to make concessions, but never was reflected on our bill.

We were staying at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Auburn after a long drive and wanted to eat somewhere we could walk to….well this is the place folks…we called for reservations around 3:45 for 6:30. We got there around 6:25 and we were seated by the fireplace. For a Wednesday evening the place had a really good crowd….our service was excellent and the food was amazing…standout dishes were the Salad Lyonnaise with bacon and a poached egg, Foie Gras special(really amazing), Fried Buttermilk Chicken and lastly the blueberry creme brûlée for dessert. Our cocktails were excellent also….Definitely the place to eat in the downtown area and only a 3 minute walk from the hotel not 8 like Google maps had indicated….

I grew up in Auburn and was blown away by Moro's Table! The food was excellent as were the menu choices. In addition, I love the option of smaller-size portions. As someone who routinely takes food home from places here in N.J., I appreciated the sensible-size portions for me. Then, the wine prices, too: reasonable and with a generous pour. Go to Moro's; make it a stop after your visit the Tubman homestead and the Seward Mansion!

My husband and I had Saturday dinner reservations for 7:15pm. We arrived at 7:10pm and were sat immediately. We waited 20+minutes and not once did a server come to our table. I understand they could be busy with a dinner rush, short-handed, etc but within 20+ minutes of sitting there you would think that someone would have at least taken our drink order or explained they were behind that night and would be with us shortly, but nothing. While sitting there we called another local restaurant, made reservations, and left. We loved the atmosphere and really wanted to like this place! It was so disappointing and something we have never experienced at a restaurant before.

This restaurant is right downtown and very nice. The staff were great. We didn't have a reservation but I figured getting there at 5 pm would be early enough to get a table. They offered us a hightop table but as my wife is a bit short, we asked for a regular table. They did find us one but most of the other tables were reserved...big hint...make a reservation if you want to eat here! The restaurant filled up very quickly with what I assume were mostly regulars...always a good sign. We started with the potstickers which arrived very overdone, almost to the point of being burnt. We had to send the last one back as it was just too charred to eat but they quickly replaced it. They were very tasty however! If you are a fan of sushi, this is the place to go...lots of different types to choose from...the only comment from my wife (the sushi queen) was that she had never seen lettuce in sushi before and went to the trouble of picking it out being unable to eat it. I had a small order of the braised boneless beef ribs which were very tasty. I think next time, I would order the larger plate given the two pieces of meat were very good but not enough. We would definitely return to Moro's Table again and would recommend it to anyone in the Auburn area.
