This is definitely an outstanding local restaurant. I have been there a number of times for both breakfast and lunch. The last visit I had a cup of chili and a grilled chicken sandwich. The chili was unique and very tasty. I never had anything quite like it. It was chock full of vegetables, meat and beans. The chili was more of a saucy consistency (quite good). The servers were attentive and always available. While we were there a guest ordered the wrong thing and it was returned...
This is a hidden gem of a restaurant I wish I had known about before ! It is mainly a “country store” for the purpose of selling and showcasing their brand of pancake and waffle mixes among other things. However there is a small area with about maybe a dozen or so tables where they have a cafe that features menu items utilizing their products. AMAZING food. The best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had - like hands down no contest. Because it is a tiny cafe with only a dozen...
Very small diner, limited seating but the food is worth the wait! Large portions for the cost. Love the little shop as well. Only suggestion - pave your parking lot. So many pot holes and everyone parks wherever so there is no official parking lines.
