The restaurant wasn't busy, so we hoped for a quick service of high quality. The bread was good, warm and of pleasant texture. The anti-pasto plate was okay, fresh if unimaginative. The main dishes were basically barely warmed through- it did stand out on a cold October day!: meat lasagna and spinach ravioli. Ravioli was drenched in cream sauce beyond repair: it felt that the source was the main dish, sparsely sprinkled with a few meager ravioli. The lasagna was edible, but bland and, basically, plain meat. Definitely not worth of your money. The service, given the emptiness of the place, was slow. We are not coming back.

Good food, outside seating in good weather, popular informal dining. We sat outside at 5:30 pm since it was fairly noisy inside the cozy but very busy restaurant and bar (for a Monday). I had a thin crust cheese and sausage pizza and my friend had the veggie spaghetti dish. Large portions, so we both had leftovers. Only gripe was that though our waiter was genial and efficient, he seemed always in a rush, and indeed forgot about my companion’s request for a second glass of wine. Also, parking might be a little tricky. I’d go again.

We stopped for lunch as we were between towns. So happy we did. The lunch special was a real bargain. Our server (Milton, don't be fooled by the name as he is from Italy) was most pleasant and helpful. He readily made accommodations to the mussels we ordered. My wife's salmon was very tasty as was my chicken Francese. The house wine was good which called for a second glass. it is hard to find good espresso, but you will find it here.

I had linguine with seafood, my husband had cavetelli. We both felt the meals lacked flavor. Best taste of the night was my side salad (ordered separately, not included with meal). We likely won’t return.

They went out of their way to make last minute accommodations for 7 people. The food was great and service very friendly. Highly recommend!

We arrived in Auburn on a Friday night and jus happened to land here. We found a place at the bar where we were treated so well by the bartender and the regulars at the bar. Such a fun place and the food was great.

My wife and I went there for dinner and were able to sit on the outside patio. You can also eat in, or do take-out. We shared a pear salad and the waiter bought us two plates and serving utensils, which is not something that is often done when we share salads. It was a very nice salad. I had the Fafalla seafood pasta which came with salmon and shrimp, and was able to substitute a marinara sauce for the vodka sauce that it was to come with. It was a nice- sized, tasty meal. We both enjoyed our dinners.

I recently went to this restaurant when I (and 2 cousins) went down to Auburn to meet a distant cousin and her husband. It was recommended because of the good food. We had a reservation for 5, but the table was set for 4. Not a big deal and it was quickly resolved. The waiter (whom I suspect may be one of the owners) came and took our drink orders. It took a long time to bring our drinks, but we were chatting so it was okay. I noticed that a member of a party of 4 on the patio came inside to ask when someone was going to come and take their drink orders. The waiter took our entree order when he brought the drinks. My cousin and her husband each ordered a pizza. The other cousins ordered the ravioli and salmon, and I ordered the linguini. After about 15-20 minutes, the pizzas arrived and we assumed that our entrees would follow immediately. Not so! It was easily another 20-25 minutes before our entrees arrived. In the meantime, my cousin and her husband didn't want to eat their pizza because they felt badly that they would be eating and we wouldn't. So their pizza was no longer hot by the time our entrees arrived. The waiter gave a completely lame excuse that 'that's the way the kitchen does it'. I'm sorry, but I doubt that this was the first time such an order was placed. Any waiter with any experience would know that if the pizzas only took 15-20 minutes to make, then he should've put in the other entree orders well before the pizzas so that they would all be ready at around the same time. Then, because we called the waiter's attention to this issue, he told us not to worry and said that they would be 'comping' a meal and/or bringing us free lemonicello. Neither was done. So while the food was good, the entire experience was terrible - especially the waiter trying to cover for the terrible service. I will never go back to this place again and neither will my cousins.

With family from out of state, I wanted to take them somewhere new, not the same old place. We had never been here before. The environment is warm and cozy, with the wood-fired pizza oven facing the dining area. Generous wine list and friendly servers. The food though - delicious and rich. Enough for leftovers too. My favorite is the mushroom ravioli. I've since brought many friends here. The service can be a bit slow, but the food and the ambience make it worthwhile.

We had a fabulous late lunch for a family birthday celebration today! The food was excellent, parking was free and a breeze, the atmosphere and service were great! If they have the carbonara on the menu or as a special, it’s worth the experience of having them wheel out the wheel of cheese with the pasta in the middle and mix it up at your table. The staff was attentive and even brought out a complimentary slice of cake for the birthday girl and mini-cannolis for everyone else. They also make their own limoncello onsite and it was delicious (and complimentary). Totally recommend this restaurant - what a treat!

A group of my friends and I came here for drinks and desert. We had heard good things about this place but were Sorley disappointed. When we walked in we told them off the bat that we were only there for drinks and desert they gave us dirty looks and reluctantly sat us, we also informed them that we had a friend joining us later. we ordered our drinks and some cannoli's and some kind of chocolate cake. the cannoli was terrible, stale and no flavor and the cake was frozen still, my friend couldn't even eat it. They also got several of our drinks wrong. However I have to say that the worst part was when our friend joined us later they completely ignored and refused to serve him. We ended up just paying and leaving. WORST first experience at a restaurant we have ever had.

This is a homey, local, low-key Italian Osteria. I would say it tends to serve locals, mostly. For food, choose a thin-crust pizza, made in a wood-fired oven (seen by the bar). Delicious. For wine, pretty good selections by the glass. Choose a Chianti Classico. For tables, ask to be in the main room (the one you walk into from the street). I sat in the back right with no view. Tip: Park on Dill Street around the corner in the street (no need to feed the meters for dinner). There is no parking at the restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere, you can sit at the bar, in the bar area, or up in the separate dining rooms. EVERYONE was very friendly and greeted you as we walked in, and made sure to thank us and told us to have a good evening when we left. Very nice customer service. We started with a margareta pizza that was delicious! They serve homemade bread with the oil on the side with grated cheese. Our 3 meals were absolutely delicious..lasagna, pasta with clam sauce, and a pasta with pesto dish. Dessert was delicious- tiramisu and lemon cake. Both very lite and delicious.
