What a great neighborhood bar. I've lived 3 blocks over from the bar and never had any issues with noise or nuisance. I stop in once every 6 months. We have friends that come from all over the world to work for a week or two in Auburn, we always send them to Otoole's. The bar is quiet, has it's regulars, and cheap prices. O'Tooles has been a staple to the community for decades. Unfortunately the noisy neighbor who has no community ties - outsider -- has surveillance all over the place. Mind your manners outside or you can be posted to social media in one of his oppressive feeble posts.

The atmosphere wasn't particularly friendly. My boyfriend thought that the bartender was kind of rude. Typical Auburn bar that just keeps hanging on.

The general bar vibe is unfriendly and it is frequented by a regular clique who go there to drink almost daily and get hammered. 23 service calls to APD since June 2020 according to public records. . It’s quite something to see a venerable 115 year old bar being run into the ground. It’s a shame.
