The service and atmosphere was great. However, the waitress recommended I try "The Garbage Plate", which is a combination of potatoes, corned beef hash, topped with 2 eggs and toast. I can't find this on the online menu, so I'm thinking they just made it up just for me that day. Anyway, the bottom layer of potatoes were completely burnt carbon black, and the burnt flavor permeated the entire pile of "garbage" on my plate. Then the check came. They...
As a tourist, I searched for good breakfast near me and was so glad I chose Pavlo"s. Even at 10 am on a weekend, getting a seat was quick (I sat at the counter, so nostalgic). The soda fountain had Cherry Coke ? and the menu was straight forward. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the toast options plentiful (yay, sourdough), and the home fries were good.
But, this review is not about the food, because the place is only as good as the service and the wait...
